This was very sweet, Pining Jim is adorable and heartbreaking in every iteration. I loved the echoes you used of "not knowing what [they were] missing" and the way that circled back at the end.

Okay, so this is gonna be stinking cute.

*She wasn’t unhappy with her life. She had a lot to be grateful for and it could always be worse. But things had begun to feel stagnant—unremarkable, really. She was known to thrive in the comfort of familiarity. But now there was the nagging urge to change something. She wanted to glow too.*

Love the idea of Jim meeting Fancy New Beesly for the first time. Creates a different dynamic and I'm excited to see where you take this!

The way you unfolded this chapter was just brilliant. And the UST is amazing, I'm absolutely loving it!

*"Should I ask the flight attendant to cut the crusts off your sandwich too?"

He furrowed his brow as she continued.

HAHA Jim totally is a child. An adorable one, though.

*The look on Pam's face mirrored his. He wanted to go back to watching Pretty in Pink and feeling the weight of her head on his shoulder as he breathed in the scent of her shampoo and forgot about everything else. He wanted to stay in this bubble they created where he didn't know her last name but knew she picked the pickles off her hamburger and wanted a house with a terrace and that she broke her arm in the third grade.

But he also knew that wasn't possible.*

Angst? Yes, please!

You did a really great job with this. It's nice to see Jim fearful about the things he's missing out on and how his success is actually failing his family (it certainly doesn't come across in canon, or at least as much as it should). It's painful knowing where this one leads but I really like what you did with NBC (one of my faves!) and him trying to do something small but meaningful for his family. The parallels between himself and Jack are great too. I feel for S9 Jim, I just wish we'd seen more of *this* side of him.

I Miss You is all about NBC, so when I rewatched it, I kind of felt Jack was restless like Jim and wanting more, so glad you liked those parallels.

Finally starting this one, every time I saw the title I immediately thought of JK with the beard so... nice. Nothing wrong with that at all. ;)

I really like the setup so far. It's cool to see which Dunder Mifflinites you have working with each company, and every time one pops up it's exciting! (...BUT WHERE IS MICHAEL?!)

Very cute how they are both drawn to the photos of each other. Nice to show a clear attraction on both ends from the start.. and both are seemingly unattached? Curious how this one is going to go!

Okay finally catching up with this one, and lots going on! First of all, Karen is crazy. Cathy is crazy. But I guess that's to be expected.

Holly and David... are they a couple? Did I miss something? Where is Michael? THIS MAKES ME SAD

This is such a great way of putting Pam's fear into words, I love it.

These two bits:

"Of course, fourteen-year-old Pam knew who she was without Roy Anderson. Maybe you’ll get back there one day."

"You start packing clothes and shoes and other random things. You can’t tell what your thought process is as you cram a faded beach towel and some books you’ve never read into an old suitcase, only that it’s hard to figure out what things are important to you."

...hurt me. Good job!

This was a sweet ending and actually felt really authentic to what would have happened and how it would have happened if she'd dumped Roy before CN.

Very clever way to make "Do you think I should break up with Roy?" exactly what was going through her mind in canon.

"You don’t quite know how to feel about the silence that responds, but the nice thing about silence is that it doesn’t demand very much of you."

Ooh, I loved this line.

Okay, I really like what Jim did here. He made his intentions clear without really scaring her (like in CN, twice). I don't think he did anything wrong, necessarily, in CN by being honest, but I do think if he'd approached it all a bit differently it might have had a different outcome. (The timing is a key factor, of course, as well.)

"Seeing your engagement ring always made you think about the night you and Roy got engaged, never your future wedding. You always tried to imagine it, but there was nothing in place to give you inspiration. It was just easier to think about the past."

This is a great way to show how Pam pushed forward while we were all screaming at her to wake up. And I love the juxtaposition between her and Roy's past with her and Jim's future.

This one was my favorite!
