Aw, I like this idea. It's interesting to explore those quick moments right after the cut in those scenes. And how much Jim thought he was expressing versus what was actually on his face and what Pam could read (or let herself read) into it. I especially like that during Jim's confession on CN that he kind of looks at her like, "come on, you had to have known".

wow, those last few paragraphs are probably the best idea for the beginning of S4 I have seen yet. I think that Jim could easily have an "epiphery" very much like that when he finds out about the Temp. Great stuff.
Author's Response: Thanks for the kind words. Once I started writing, I felt how much Jim was putting into this relationship. Not that his dream per se had been a corporate job, but I think he just jumped on a romantic whim which may or may not pay off. Either way, once the adrenaline of the whole thing wears off, I am interested to see where that leaves him.
