9 I could really see Jim trying to resist this whole endeavour, because it brings everything he has tried not to deal with for so long. I do hope he will finally start to see the light a little bit in the end though. :)
So glad you updated this. I lvoe this story. Poor sad Jim. Everything leading up to Casino Night is so heartwrenching for him.

They say there are 5 stages of grief - Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. You'll see Pam go through them - with some future fluff every other chapter to keep you from pulling your hair out. There will be 10 chapters in all. :)

10 You know how I have pledged my love and devotion to this story! :) This chapter certainly did not disappoint. I liked seeing Jim put some barriers to protect himself. It was great to see Pam having to deal with the consequences of her actions. Oh, and a little sexy moment thrown in has never hurt anyone. ;)

9 Finally, she breaks down and is ready for acceptance. Yay! It is not as angsty as other chapters, but I think that is because she is at a point where she can't fight it anymore.
Dirty Little Secret is a beautiful song. I'm pretty sure it was the last song of the night when I saw her in concert. Awesome.

I could try, but I don't think it is possible. ;) I think you did a good job of setting up the conflicts that I totally can see arising between them, and how Pam would try to avoid it at all costs. I don't care if naughty nurse/secretary is cliché, because you just made it so funny.
