I'm okay to have Pam hooking up with someone else. She is hurting, and clearly, she is doing something a little stupid. I was more surprised by the fact that the whole chat thing was blown wide open. I thought they had suspicions but didn't know for sure. I don't see Jim and Pam as ones to ever confront things head on.
Anyway, it is an interesting storyline you have going.
MA-- Thanks so much for your feedback. And after reading what people have to say, and calling my beta in the middle of the work day, I decided that I wasn't successful in what I was attempting to do. I've gone back and tweaked a couple of things in the chapter and I'm much happier about where things are going now.
UNKNOWN USER... Oh no. That killed me a little bit. Poor Pam. Pam and Jim being mad at each other brings back those sad season 3 episodes, and it bums me out a bit. I am sure you will make it up to us soon enough. ;) I enjoyed this different format and it was nice to see the Dunder Mifflinites regain a bit of control after being manipulated by the production team.
This is very simple and yet powerful. I love this sentence, "She says it because his smile is so radiant she can see it in the dark, and it somehow makes her heart both stop and beat faster, all at the same time." Very nice.

I thought you did a good job with Dwight's voice. He is tough to capture but that does seem like the kind of analogy he'd use. I like the idea that Pam helps bring out Jim's more compassionate side.

That was so good! I was also reminded of kids when Pam said, "Your turn" so I'm really glad you used that as an inspiration. It worked very well. Unusual getaway but they made the most of it. ;)

Three things I believe: They love each other. Dunder Mifflin would wear Jim down without Pam there. Parenting ain't easy. This story follows from those three premises.
I really really liked this because it felt like a real relationship, and not a perfect version of it . Plus, I think it really captures the little things we know about the characters like Jim's reticence to say things at time, bottling it up. That was a great read.

I love reading and writing fluff, and of course we see stories where the whole point is to bang our grief bone with angst...I wanted to try something in between. And Jim is reticent 99% of the time and spilling his guts the other 1%, and I do think that would keep showing up in their relationship.

“I want to go to Jim’s,” Pam said, interrupting Angela’s thoughts.
Angela felt as though her head might pop off and land in one of her cup holders. Would the depravity of this night never end?
Oh, this story is good. So, so very good. There's something unbelievably hot about them being finally honest with each other (Yeah, I realize how much this show has played with my mind for me to say this!) The Dundies was really the first episode where Pam seemed on the verge of admitting something so it makes sense, I think, that had she been away from the cameras and Roy all night, she may have finally made a move. Anyway, can't wait to read more! :)
The drawing is hilarious, and you can draw well.
Having Jim and Pam get together by The Dundies would have cut too much into potential storylines for the how's writers but I love reading about it! This was a great story. Just so sweet, and I love you made their love pretty uncomplicated. :)

A sequel to "Five Ways Pam Tells Jim She's Pregnant", about a year and a half down the line. Each vignette corresponds to one in the original story, and are five stand-alone realities.
I had really loved your original story, and this sequel lives up to it. It's great, even if the first chapter broke Jim's heart. I'm not always a big fan of babyfic, but this is not about the babies being cutesy, it's all about the parents trying to live through it.

Great mood piece. I like the idea that he sometimes still feels a need to hold back, but she really doesn't want him to. It was a lovely read.
I liked this a lot. I liked that Pam was freaked out by the idea of being pregnant because it wasn't exactly what she had planned, and it's a scary thing to try to figure out on the spot. Glad to see Jim was supportive. I wouldn't have expected less from him.

That was a really lovely description of their relationship. I like that Pam is able to identify his faults and his strengths; it feels like a realistic assessment and yet she loves. It was really sweet.

Jim and Pam on familiar ground. Spoilers (perhaps) up to mid-Season 4.That was the perfect antidote to season finale blues. You're unbelievably good at making scenes between Jim and Pam sensual and so charged without being graphical. It's always so evocative. That was just perfect.
Wow. Your writing, even when/if it brings angst, makes me ridiculously happy. I reread this whole series, and it is just so good. Your pacing is always just so right, which is so difficult to do. I'm glad the little one left you just a little bit of time to write. :) I hope you will grace us with more writing when the inspiration strikes!
Oh, the last 2 sentences are just so short yet very powerful and perfectly fitting season 3. It just broke my heart. Well done with this story!
This story did make me sad (I'm with Krissy with being a sucker for happy endings), but I am so glad to see something new by you! :) It was some lovely writing. Your writing always allows me to picture mentally your stories so easily, and I love how you put some motifs (repetitions of sentences, for example) and play with words.
