I'm still working my way through DFW's stuff and I'm already so sad to know there will be an end to it and that I'll never have a chance to write to him and tell him what reading his words has meant to me. I'm a little conflicted about Jim moving on. While its certainly realistic and a good thing for him and Amanda, I can't help but feel some compassion for the next woman who shares his life. Can she ever know Jim's whole heart after Pam?

This chapter brought back my running away from home tantrum. Mom helped me pack and I spent about an hour hiding (or so I thought) between our house and the neighbours. Can't for the life of me remember why I ran away though.
