Disclaimers
I have noticed that many recent stories are lacking the disclaimer for non-ownership of characters. Please make sure you include it within the author's notes or in story notes. Here is a standard disclaimer you can use (although you are free to write up your own, if inspiration strikes):
Disclaimer: All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners. The original characters and plot are the property of the author. The author is in no way associated with the owners, creators, or producers of any media franchise. No copyright infringement is intended.
It would really be appreciated if you could make sure it is included in your stories, and add it in, if it isn't. Thank you so much for your help!

This isn't related to your post, however I was just thinking to myself.. perhaps a new challenge, I'm not sure if there is an easier way to put forth one.. but.. Jim and Pam in the movies.. like the Princess bride one, I'd kill to read a good When Jim met Pam or Dirty Dancing: Scranton Nights... placing Jim and Pam pr any other's I guess into a movie.. just like the other. If I could write well I'd do it... so hope someone picks up one it!

Oh, good idea. A crossover with movies. I like it. I shall make it an official challenge some time soon. :)

You know what? I just noticed that dundercross, the LJ website for crossovers does have movie crossovers! You should suggest it over there; maybe someone wants to take a stab at some of those movies!

I'm having trouble getting my story notes to show up. I put the disclaimer in there, but when I go to the story, it's not there. :(
