This is a solid chapter, sort of a microcosm of their entire love triangle - Roy fails to live up to some pretty basic expectations, sending Pam essentially unwittingly directly to Jim.
Author's Response: That is indeed how I see their dynamic, consistently. I really dislike Roy, if you can't tell ;)
