I love this one. It is the rare short good fic that I don't even want more of because I think it hits its key moment at the right moment and it is just perfect as is.

Good job, Jim. One of the issues I have with purely canon Jim is how either passive or assholish he is about Pam during this point of the arc. I like this version better.

oh my goodness. that's so intense! i really liked it, and i think you did a FANTASTIC job with getting describing her emotions, roy's actions, and everything. a great chapter, and it seemed really realistic - just thought you might like to know.

I had some time this morning so I decided to read some of your previous stuff. I loved this story so much...GUH! I loved how Jim held his ground with Karen, and the ER waiting room scene was gold.

I loved every second of this! You struck the perfect balance between angst and hope- making me nervous like "oh no! don't stay at the party with that hussy Karen!" while giving subtle hints that JAM will conquer all. *sigh* Gold stars all around! :)

Great job. Love that Jim had to come see Pam even though Karen didn't want him to and that Jim & Pam were finally honest with each other. I love happy endings.
