OMG, Mox, sorry but I must be one of the last of your hundreds of rabid fans to read this chapter, but it was so worth it!!! I had to read it again just now, but first I had to: 1. open a beer, and 2. FF to the scene in ST where Jim is standing with Pam in front of the castle and he's just staring at her with that smile like, "Hey, Beesly, you have no idea how much in love with you I still am," and I paused the scene so I can glance up at it while rereading this chapter...
Jim, Jim, you silly boy. You fell right into FNB's trap. Periwinkle, hon? Only Jim knows about that. :) And then the "M" word? Ha! The alcohol had addled your brain. (But obviously not other parts of your anatomy.) Which leads us to: (hopefully) LE CYBERSEX! I mean, Pam's flirting up a storm, and they've been drinking, so they shouldn't be driving, so it's a viable option in their own little private world of chat, right?
Moxie, with this chapter you have totally thrown the gauntlet down in front of GD....I dare you to write it better, sir!
Sorry for the rambling. Hope you have fun worshipping at the DM shrine. I think you should slide a copy of this fic under the fence. Maybe they could do a table read, a la "Threat Level Midnight."

HOLYCRAP. I was not expecting that. I was going to have a nice eloquent review talking about the conversation and Jim's reaction to the asparagus and then you bring in that last thing in the conversation and I haven't stopped staring at that for the last fifteen minutes. I'm still looking at that and not this review so if there're spelling mistakes it's not fault, it's entirely yours.
you can't leave us like this!!! it was worth the wait, and I'm sure the next chapter will be beyond worth the wait, but I don't WANT to wait! You see how that works? because I need to know how Pam reacts and how Jim reacts and what Pam does and what Jim does and then what happens next and whether she gets pissed at him because I don't want her getting irritated with him because they're taking long enough as it is and at least Jim decided to try to do something about it. even if it was the wrong way to do something about it.
