Oh, this is great! Go Marsha! I'm excited for Jim to find her note, and trying to remind myself that these are all fictional characters! (It's very hard to remember that sometimes.)
I'm so glad Marsha is being proactive. A little more of that on the show, and we wouldn't be in this boat, right?
Author's Response: I hope you still like Marsha after this next chapter. She's not exactly turning out like you might expect...

OK, I just finished reading this and I have to say that this story is awesome! I like how Pam writes like she's talking to Jim. The italics helped. I really enjoyed it! Can't wait for more!!
Author's Response: Thanks, I hope you're still enjoying it! And Pam writes like she talks because that's what I do. My sister thinks it's really annoying, but I just can't help it. Thanks for the review!

OMG ~~ I cannot believe I waited until THIS chapter to start reading this! Yet another fic to be hooked on, begging for updates. Yikes.
I love how Pam writes like she speaks -- I could totally see a person who is going out of their mind trying to make sense of it all by writing it out in letter form. This is a great premise, and I am really looking forward to seeing where you go with this.
Author's Response:
Sorry! I really didn't mean to be that cliffhanger kind of author, but I just couldn't resist this one.
Your response to Pam's letters makes me laugh because, I kid you not, I do this. I have on several occassions written letters to guys I like when I didn't know what to say to them, or when I wanted to talk to them, but things were awkward between us.
It's pathetic, I know, but at least it's made for an interesting story, right?

i am really enjoying this. It is a nice twist to the typical JAM stories, not that I don't love them all. can't wait for the next update. Go Marsha go!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you like it. I know it's different and different isn't for everyone, so it's good to have that validation. Oh, and you're welcome to a spot on Marsha's personal cheerleading squad!

i'm excited to see where this is going!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it.

Gah! Cliffhanger! I can't wait to see what happens...
Author's Response: I know! I can't wait to see too! Oh, wait. I already know. But I'm excited for you to find out!!
Date: April 06, 2007 07:26 am Title: you're like my best friend
Eeee! I'm so glad that Marsha took the leap. And the italics help a lot!
Author's Response:
I'm so proud of my little Marsha right now. Look at her go. Off to save the world. Or at least save me some Jam. Basically the same thing anyways.
Thanks for the review!

Wow, what a letter from Pam! When Jim reads that he's going to go into shock! LOL Yay! Can't wait for more!
Author's Response:
"What makes you think Jim's going to read it?" the author responded cryptically...
Sorry, couldn't resist the chance to mess with your mind! Guess you'll have to wait and see.

Yes! Go Marsha! Can't wait to see what's next!
Author's Response: Thanks! And we're currently taking sign-ups for the Marsha cheerleading squad. Call me if you're interested.

The letters are great! So something Pam would do, and perfectly in character... they just sound like her so much.
Excited to see what happens when Jim calls Marsha!
Thanks!
Author's Response:
I'm so glad you think Pam would do this. I know I've written letters like this, but I thought maybe I was the only one. Thanks for reviewing!

Go, Marsha, go! Yay, Marsha!!
I like the italics. Looks good. :)
Author's Response: I think maybe we should start a cheerleading squad just for Marsha. Where's Katy when you need her?
Date: April 05, 2007 10:28 pm Title: you're like my best friend
I love this!
Author's Response: Thanks! :)

Eeeeeek!!! Marsha left Jim a letter! And this latest missive from Pam was a doozy! Whee!
Oh man! Can't wait to see what happens next!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it! Enthusiasm like yours just makes me want to write faster! So thanks for the motivation.
Date: April 05, 2007 08:10 pm Title: you're like my best friend
Yeah, I definitely like the italics. I cannot wait for Jim to read the letters! (If that is, indeed, where you are taking this.) Pam's last letter was so sweet. Great job!
Author's Response:
Oh good the italics helped! And I'm glad you liked Pam's letter. I was worried it might be a little too sweet. Thanks for the review. :)

I simply adore this story. I feel so bad for Pam but am so cheering Marsha on every step of the way. The build up until she finally took some action is just perfect.
Really great job. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for more.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. And there's more coming soon, but you might get a little uncomfortable if you stay on the edge of that seat all night, so I'll give you permission to get up and move around from time to time. ;)

"It was the fact that once she did this there would be no turning back. She would now become a participant in this little melodrama instead of just a passive observer".
Don't we all wish we could go from being passive observers to participants! I am so glad that she feels compelled to do something about this madness. Can't wait to see what's next.
Author's Response:
I know I wish I could be Marsha, but since I can't I'll just have to keep writing about her. Glad you like it!
Date: April 05, 2007 06:10 pm Title: you're like my best friend
Yay, Marsha!!! I am SOOO anxious to see what Jim does/says!! Keep writing, please!! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks! And I'll definitely keep writing. Anything to keep the squirrel-master happy. ;)

wow so the office just ended and I am rewarded by new "letters" could this day get any better (well it could if my mom didn't bug me every MINTUE).
Wow, she left the note for Jim. I can't believe it.
I love that we got a full letter. Is it bad that really I forgot that you were writing it, and I was just totally like, Wow, Pam! and yeah, whatever!
Author's Response:
I hope it's not bad that you forgot it was me writing. Because that would mean it really sounded like Pam to you, which is a huge compliment. So thanks!
And sorry about your Mom, they can be a pain sometimes.

I'm really loving this fic! It's such a unique idea! There's a lack of response for it at TWoP? That's a shame. I hope you can find a person to beta, although, you're doing great on your own! Hardly any grammar mistakes. I do think you need to italicize the letters, though. Just to make it a little bit easier to differentiate between the letters. =) Please write fast!
Author's Response: Well, the lack of response comment was referring to the fact that I wanted a beta and I wanted it right then! And so when I didn't get one I pouted and then posted anyway. I'm a very emotional updater I've realized. But anyways, I'm glad you're liking it and I think you're right about the italics so look for those in the next chapter.

I'm really enjoying this. Hooray for nosy cleaning ladies! I hope she delivers the letters to Jim, or--even better--doesn't have to because Pam finally confesses her feelings. But of course given the POV, it'd have to happen through Marsha's actions or we wouldn't know about it. :)
Very nice job. I love the story.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only person who loves this story. Sometimes I feel like a total dork for liking my own story so much. Anyways, yes I can definitively say that Marsha will have something to do with them getting together, but I won't say anything else. Yet.

Perhaps being stretched a bit (kinda like a certain 3rd season of a certain show) but good. I'd like to see more background on Marsha particularly her age so we could identify with her more.
Author's Response: Yeah, I think that's what happens when you draw your inspiration from a show that thrives on knocking its viewers over the head with the tension. As for Marsha's background some of that will be revealed in a few chapters, so I hope you'll stick with it until then. Thanks for the review!
Date: April 04, 2007 05:32 pm Title: I watched you asleep
I feel quite certain it's going somewhere, and I can't wait to see where.
Author's Response: I can promise you'll find out the general direction pretty soon. Sorry if that was vague, but...well... you'll see what I mean! I'm glad you like it.
Date: April 04, 2007 05:23 pm Title: I watched you asleep
I'm really excited to see where this is going! Great job so far!
Author's Response: Thank you! I actually had time to write today, so you shouldn't have to wait too long to find out.
Date: April 04, 2007 12:07 pm Title: I watched you asleep
It really is a good and believable view into what's going on with Pam during all of this. I do hope Marsha does something soon though!
Author's Response:
Oh, she will! :) Glad you like it!

This totally does not feel like it is going nowhere! I am so enjoying learning about Jim and Pam with Martha. But I hope Martha finds something soon (perhaps a clue to Jim's feelings on his desk... or something) that makes her act.
This is totally fun!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I have a really fun idea for how to keep going with it, so stay tuned.
