I can't tell you how much I am loving this story. I never really liked Ryan all that much. Plus I have always been a huge Jam fan, but now you have turned my Office fandom world upside down. I can't believe that I am actually rooting for Pam/Ryan now. I have even sought out other fics looking for that pairing now. (Although, no disresect to other writers, but I prefer yours.) But I still want Jim and Pam to be together, oh the turmoil! Hee. Thinking about this story also made me find and reread the Improper Bostonian with B.J. on the cover. I have a newfound respect for his hotness.
Thank you for opening my eyes to the glory that is B.J. Novak and for constantly updating this dawesome story.
One other thing that I love is that you made Karen likeable and relateable. Kudos!

Currently, I feel no need to smack you down. I'm sure you are very happy about that, because I know you were pretty scared. I didn't even need the vomicillin when Pam and Ryan had sex on purpose, when they weren't even drunk. Maybe you wore me down with all the touching, shameless flirting, and Cyrano de Bergerac-style-sex in prior chapters. I don't know. I can't explain it. (/Ryan)
However, tomorrow's a new day (at work), right? So, I'd better see Ryan with a newfound commitment to Kelly, Karen and Jim on the outs, and Pam and Jim having sex somewhere and declaring true undying love for one another. ('Cuz that's gonna happen in this story.)
And I think where Jim said: “Um, I’m kind of tired actually. Rain check?” that he really meant: "Um, I'm kind of tired of having sex with you and thinking of Pam all the time. Have a good life and don't let the door hit you on your way out, okay?"
BTW, I have the dojo on speed-dial. Just sayin'.
Author's Response: Hahah, wow, I thought the second round of Ryan/Pam sex would send you heaving over the side of the boat ;) All of successes in fanfic have come from my ability to slowly, and painfully, wear someone down. Keep that dojo on hand though... just in case!

I was so excited to see an update to this story. I love how things are not so black and white here...its so much more realistic. That Pam and Ryan have sorta-feelings for each other, hook up yet again the morning after. I love how everyone immediately jumps in to bail each other out of potentially revealing moments with Michael. Talk about a team building exercise -- this trip sure was one!
I'm enjoying the continued awkwardness between Jim and Pam, but at least they're talking now, even if it's just about being friends. I was fearful that the drunken 'passion' between them the night before would make speaking even more difficult, but I'm glad to see that it isn't.
And Ryan having no messages from Kelly...wow, that was a surprise. She might be a lot smarter than any of us give her credit for, or maybe her date went that well.
I cannot wait to see what happens when everyone goes home.

I am so in love with Ryan. In this story only though. But yeah, if he pulled me in and kissed my forehead like that... *sigh* Adorable.
And every single day for the past like five days I've been sitting in the computer lab writing non-stop papers, but repeatedly hitting update on MTT between sentences and just praying to see an update for this.
I don't know how you got Jim to go from a-hole to sexiest-Jim-I've-ever-read to nice guy again, but you did and it's totally believable. I like that he wants to be friends again. Is that what he was going to say when he grabbed her arm in the hallway? Will you tell me? Pleeeease?
I'm concerned about Kelly not leaving Ryan any voicemails. This fic could really go anywhere, so I'm dying to know where you take it. Will you have Ryan decide that he wants something serious with Kelly? With Pam? Or just fun with Pam?
In conclusion, your story has taken over my life. Next time why not just find a way to email me some crack? Pusher! I'm already getting jittery for the next chapter.
