Wow. I really enjoyed these. The simpleness of it all, the short, sweet, slightly heartbreaking moments were all beautifully written and IC. They all stood out in their own unique way. Great job.

Oh wow, this was amazing, I loved it! Especially Andy's bit, it's so like him to desperately grasp onto one little positive thing in his life and try to make it seem bigger. Michael's bit was great too, I loved how Pam leaving affected him personally, because as we all know, everything is all about him (in his head anyway). And Toby's part broke my heart, that was wonderfully written. Brilliant fic, I loved it!

I really love this. There's so much loneliness in the Office storylines- either up front like Pam and Jim or sort of quietly in the background, like Toby, and you've captured that so well. My favorite is the last one, though, b/c Dwight's relationship with his cousin is rarely explored on the show and you've done a great job of portraying it in Dwight's voice.
Author's Response:
Thanks. That's kind of why I love the office, that there's so much there but it's all different levels of subtlety.
Yeah I love writing Dwight!
Glad you enjoyed.

Very nicely done - sad in some places, hopeful in others. I really enjoyed this.

These are really beautifully written and so interesting. I'm personally one for a JAMmy ending, and would prefer to see Jim and Pam off camping! But I do like what you've done with the alternate kind of ending.
I'm not sure with the Jim and Karen one what the last sentence means. If "he doesn’t feel like something is between them" and one of the things that isn't between them is "this isn’t doomed", does it mean that he thinks that his relationship with Karen is doomed? But then he "decides not to chase something childish." So I don't get that very well.
I like the line "Give up an old friend to be herself? Fair trade." Of course I'd rather she had both, but, sometimes you don't get that. I like Michael's awkwardness when Pam is leaving.
And... poor Toby!

1. Andy's was amazing. Seriously, so few people write Andy fic and this was spot on and sympathetic and I loved the line about him knowing where the soap was in Stamford :( Broke my heart.
2. Love the last line in Pam's. Its bittersweet but very hopeful because I'd rather have Pam be her own person than just getting her and Jim together at any cost.
3.I love that Michael relates Pam leaving to him and Jan. Its so characteristic of Michael to think that everything relates back to him ahha
4. Toby's stomped on my heart.
5. Love that Jim is actually into Karen and that he feels like a grown-up and isn't sitting pining over Pam 24/7
6. Hahaha, I love the part about the potatoes, so Dwight.
Overall, I loved it! I love ensemble fic and this was so well executed and in-character. Fantastic job! What is your LJ name? I'm trying to use mine more and get into the LJ fanfic scene... mine is mozartsfriend!
Author's Response:
Hee! thanks so much.
Yeah, I honestly feel kinda sorry for Andy, I honestly think he's trying to get through the only way he knows how and it kind of blew up in his face.
Thanks for the review, I really enjoyed getting into more of the characters!
Oh, I'm quietdecember on LJ too (easier for me to remember :P)
