How happy am I to pop in here and find a juicy new girl7 story - and with 9 chapters left? Right off the bat - what a spot-on description this is:
the feeling you get when you think you've accidentally sent a private email to the entire office
Also, when Jim's eyes flicker to Pam's for that split second before Roy goes after him - that being their only direct (yes, oddly intimate) acknowledgement of that night - those were precisely my thoughts when I saw it. Love seeing it articulated so well. This one is off to a particularly good/riveting start...please be merciful and update soon!

Glad you agreed about the look - I held my breath for both of them at that moment, and oddly, it struck me as almost more dramatic than Roy lunging at him was.
I've got the next three chapters done and was going to hold on to them, tinker with them, but I went ahead and posted the next two. The fourth should be up shortly. (And then I'm off to spend two hours grading, blah.) Hopefully I can knock most of this one out this weekend, though; the story will not leave me alone!
