I sympathized with Jim all of season 3, and I totally think that he had every right to try and move on from Pam, but this story is so bitterly perfect that I'm feeling really bad for Pam! Like, so, so bad. I'm loving this angst somuch. (;

Gah, I really like where this is going so far. Jim's angry, hurt and lashing out and Pam still can't find the courage to say what she needs to say. Really liked this:

Angsty!
I don't understand when Jim says “Can I finally say it, then?” What is he wanting to say?
I like "showdown in the stairwell". I would like "Jim and Pam kiss the hell out of each other in the stairwell" even more, but... I'm not a complainer (/Jim), so I'll just follow along after you as you write more chapters.

Ooooooh. That was harsh, but I loved it. I can't wait to see how you bring them back to each other. You know if someone can cause you that much pain, they can cause you even more joy. I love how they've just gotten so far inside of each other that there's always something there: love, friendship, hurt, comfort. Great story. I look forward to reading more.

That scene in the stairwell literally made me tear up...and that doesn't happen when I read fanfics very often. Jim's angry resolve not to love her/how infuriatingly futile that is, both his and Pam's agony - it's all so vividly wrought here. (When he tears up the photos, then later kisses Karen in front of Pam - blows to the gut, I tell you.) Great taut descriptions, just really riveting from the first sentence. (And how funny, but also touching, that even Creed knows where she is before he does.)

This is really angsty and wonderful. I got such a clear image in my head of the box with ripped up pictures.
And yeah, eating lunch in the stairwell, and everyone knows it except Jim? Even Creed? Wow. So many kinds of awesome. Also, kind of a callback to The Carpet (maybe a deleted scene?) where Jim eats in his car because Pam is happily eating in the break room with Roy. I love callbacks.
Also, so sorry about your boneitis. I hear it's worse than hot dog fingers, but not quite as bad as Count Choculitis. I hope and pray to Thor himself that you have a really good Health Care plan.
