It breaks my heart that this story was never finished. Its a beautiful story, and its about something so horrible but it just.. I love it. Its real, its unfortunate, and its human. I really hope you return to it someday, incase I ever need a good cry =)

Hi! It's me again, your crazy stalker fan. Haha, just kidding. But yeah, I just saw that you responded to my last review! I'm sorry about your hand, and your family crisis. I hope everything is okay.
Anyway, I was re-reading your story again (but really, what else am I to do? There are no other stories out there like this that are THIS good). Every time I come back to read this story again, it just blows me away. I always catch something I missed before, and it becomes so much more profound and heart-breaking and beautiful.
You had this one line in your last chapter that I just noticed for the first time. About how the problems that Jim has are the ones that never crossed his troubled mind. And I love that line soooo much, because it's so similar to this other line from a song I love. It's called "Everybody's Free To Wear Sun-Screen" by Baz Lurhman. If you haven't heard of it, you should really look it up, I think you'd love it, too. I don't see how you couldn't. Anyway, that song has a line that goes, "The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at four pm on some idle Tuesday." Kind of like how Jim found out about Pam. Or like that episode that was actually called Blindsided on 21 Jump Street when that girl offered Johnny Depp money to kill her father who was molesting her.
Anywho, I want you to know that your story is so amazing that I have an endless supply of patience when it comes to waiting for an update. I want you to take your time, cause I know it's tough. I just hope you don't give up on this baby. It's really something.

Hi! I hope you haven't forgotten about us! I'm just going crazy wondering what happens with Jim and Pam. I can imagine a million different scenes in my head, but I know none of them could possibly live up to whatever you'll come up with. Because this story always blows me away. Every single time I read it, which has been many, many times. See, what happens is the waiting drives me insane, so I just come back and re-read what's already here and just find more reasons love it.
So, please take your time, but do update. I am just so invested in this story. Love you!
Author's Response: Aw! I love you too. No, I haven't forgotten about this story. But the last few months have been hard. I had a family crisis, and I injured my hand, so it's been hard to type. Then both of my hands got chopped off, my car exploded, and a tornado hit my house. . .Well, the first two reallly did happen, but you get the idea. But thank you so much for the encouragement. I will finish this as soon as I am able to. It's been killing me because I want to update, but my life got some things going on. You have no idea what your and everyone elses reviews do to me.

Oh no. I just saw that this hasn't been updated since January. Don't leave me hanging! I just read the story and fell in love with it. It's amazingly beautiful. It's nice to see a fic that, though dark, doesn't have Jim and Pam abusing each other for their mistakes. Here we just have Jim honestly caring for Pam. I love it.
