It is refreshing to see a Karen/Jim sex story that doesn't focus on all the ways he's sorry she isn't Pam, or how is mind isn't really on her. It makes it that much harder to cope with the knowledge that he breaks up with her the next day.
That last little bit of dialogue is adorable. I think I've actually had that exact conversation with my boyfriend.

OH, it both hurts and feels really good to see happy, cute, sexy Jim/Karen so close to their breakup.
Love the dynamic you captured here - I really think they were so close to being happy til that last note from Pam - and this very well could have been their last night together before both of them (well, more Karen than Jim) got blind-sided the next day.
Oh, and HOT. Always nice to see non-Jim/Pam hot fic :)
