Sigh. You’re a genius, you know that right? A wonderfully smutty holiday genius.

“Take the toy out.” This is maybe the single best rhyme in this whole poem. It’s the one that made me laugh the hardest. And the longest. That’s it. That’s all I can say about this beautiful piece of poetry.

Man, I love the arts. Thank you for this! I knew you could do it.

Author's Response:

Takes one to know one is all I’m gonna say

Thank you for your kind words and indulging this ridiculousness

Hey, remember when you wrote an amazing fic for my birthday and I was too miserably sick to enjoy it at the time? I’m here, finally!

You really nail the whole lawlessness of the week between Christmas and January 2nd - truly, no one knows what day it is and the end of the holidays is SO gloomy. Obviously I agree with all of Pam’s feelings of dread that January brings.

I really love that Jim missed her and was excited for her to come back from vacation. But I love even more that they’re finally at the spot where they’re spending the holidays together. Yay!

“Jim couldn’t believe the Christmas fairytale he was living as Pam Beesly’s boyfriend.” This might be my favorite sentence you’ve ever written.

“But Jim failed to notice any of that, because Pam was wearing nothing but a white fur trimmed red baby doll and matching Santa hat. Needless to say, Pam’s planned evening of a Christmas movie marathon, canapes and last minute gift wrapping all went totally out of the window.” Favorite sentences two and three right there.

Oh hey. Midnight mimosas, Empire Records, She’s All That, and 10 Things I Hate About You with a charcuterie board…that’s what I’m talking about. That’s a perfect day right there. Oh look - Pam and I both missed out on the mimosas this year. Oops.

Not going to lie - National Buffet Day sounds like the 2nd best holiday ever. Reading everything that Jim was planning on for the day… what a great boyfriend. Honestly. And themed movie selections? Amazing. No notes.

Oh look. Jim in sweatpants. I’m going to assume they’re grey ones. Haha oh look - I assumed right. Of course I did.

Well, well, well. This is a different kind of buffet, isn’t it? All Jim can eat, I imagine.

“Breakfast of champions” The way I laughed the first time I read this and the way I’m still laughing just as hard now. Perfect line is perfect.

What a treat this whole thing was to read! Jim and Pam definitely celebrated appropriately. Thank you so much for this super delightful read!!

Author's Response: You are so very welcome! I’m sorry you had such an awful month, but guess what, I heard the rest of the year is gonna be fabulous

I think there should be more National Buffet days. Oh, and my birthday's on 23rd in case you were asking ;)

Author's Response: I’m so sorry it’s taken so long to reply, but look at that, ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY! Happy birthday! Sorry there’s isn’t a fic, but I hope you have the best day! Hopefully I’ll have a belated present of an HD chapter soon for you!

LOOK, MA, ANOTHER SHOUT OUT. When I saw that I immediately said, “what awful thing have I blurted out this time that’s she’s going to expose me for? 😭 “ but it wasn’t that bad this time thank god.

Love, love, LOVE.

It was well worth the wait and what a happy birthday is for Coley. Now you can take a break. d84;a039; BUT NOT FOR LONG.

Author's Response: Wasn’t bad? Or was hilarious. Pure gold. Your finest work.

Thank you for letting me have a break. You unfortunately can’t have one yet. So chop chop

Ma’am. MA’AM. This is a Christmas miracle and I love so much about it. I mean…can we talk about Dwight as the roommate, plaid shirt occurrences, sneaky kisses, Helene treating this like the Met gala and - ma’am - The. Stocking . Stuffers. STOP.
But also do not stop! This is a holiday fic masterpiece and I love it so much. Don’t mind me rereading about jiggling bulges or dropped Santa hats. It’s the details that make holidays so…special! 🥰😘

Author's Response:

Ah thank you so much! So glad you liked this, and how much you appreciate the jiggling bulge 😂

But chop chop, time to stop reading and get back on HMOH please!!

For fuck sake - you are just FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC!! How long did it take you to come up with such absolutely perfect rhymes to match the tempo and rythym - well fucking done!

Author's Response:

Hahha that really made me laugh out loud!! Thank you so much!

The actual lines didn't take me too long, but obsessing over the tempo and adjusting words here and there took about three weeks hahahha!!

Thank you for your kind words!

This is probably the second poem I read in English and you give Edgar Allan Poe a run for his money😉. I never imagined a smutfic could rhyme and yet, here it is and does rhyme very well!

Awww, love this fic. It's Hallmarky, cute, and smutmas, all my favorite things this time a year.

Also, it reminded me of the full Monty movie which I haven't seen in a while and now I want to rewatch it.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Author's Response:

I think you meant to comment on the other fic! But thank you so much for your kind words! So very happy you enjoyed it!

And yes!! The Full Monty kept creeping into my mind too!

Merry Christmas to you too!

Domestic post-series Jam is the absolute best and THIS is so much fun in that world. In large part because of real world gems like this “ I really don't want him to know about the $80 I just spent on enough different types of pills to fill up the $5 case.” How I felt this in my bones. 😂

Every time I read a NYC story (fanfic or otherwise) I want the city to be a character and you definitely nailed that! Such a fun way to tie canon into this story that Pam and Jim are doing the “middle age/no kids/different place” behaving like they’re younger but also in a place that has memories for them from when they were younger together. I love that.

Whew! That flight home is going to be fun! Thank you for this fun fic!

Author's Response:

Ah thank you so much! So happy you liked it

Maybe no more gummies for them though. Or me 🫣

Oh. My. Gosh. This was SO sweet! And you know I love a Cece conception story!!! What a great Easter surprise! First of all, how does someone from across the pond so accurately understand the US healthcare system? That’s 100% what would happen if Pam needed her birth control— and frankly, probably the most likely scenario of where the Company Picnic surprise originated. Such cute attention to details, like always— like Pam using the rest of the Bisquik from the pancake luncheon— and Jim’s pro and cons list. That’s always one of my favorite Michael Jim scenes and also gives us so much insight into a little nerdy habit of Jim’s— after Pam throws a pillow at him when he tries the calculate the cost of contraception per “episode”, you have the imagine that Pam and Michael share a little laugh together after the debacle over who gets the raises!!

Pam’s dress sounds super cute and I love the way you write Betsy. She just seems like super chill and relaxed and while I believe she let Jim and Pam have their own private “egg hunt” without interruption, I’m sure she had some idea what they were up to!

Such fun double entendres and plays on words and as usual, a little fun smut. I never know if I like your AU or canon Jam more… they’re both so good but I love the little extra sweet Jammy moments your AU moments give us to fill in the blanks about our fave couple!

Can we have a post Company Picnic one shot of Jim and Pam realizing that he “found the egg”? And that Cece is the golden egg prize??!!! Or maybe a glimpse at next year’s Halpert Egg Hunt with Miss Cecelia Marie Halpert as the guest of honor?? So excited to see another work from you— always my fave!!! Off to pick up my coffee order that I placed just before realizing that I’m actually not scheduled to work this morning— fully ready to head in of course…. But this was a delightful way to spend my early (but not necessary) AM— followed by a nap! What a delightful post Easter AM combined with your story!

Author's Response:

Well thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it and that I managed to make it at least a little accurate! Can't promise any more to this fic, but never say never!

Thank you for the review!

Who knew an Easter Egg hunt could get so hot? I felt for Jim and Pam, having to keep an eye on Pam's parents rather than enjoy the holiday themselves. Glad they managed to have a bit of fun for themselves at the end ;) Brilliant writing as always MrsK, you're a holiday superstar n88;

Author's Response:

Who knew indeed!!My anxiety couldn't take it for sure haha!

Thank you for my star and the jellies! You are a jelly star yourself!

That was fun. Of course there was some tension what with keeping Pam's parents apart and all. Same with Helene taking potshots whenever she could. However the payoff was pretty great. Them sneaking off behind the shed was a lot of fun too. I do wonder if Betsy put it out there on purpose? A bit of tryst there behind the shed as well, but considering the pent up energy that had been building all day, it makes sense it needed to come out. And of course Jim found more than one egg so there you go.

Happy Easter! It's also the perfect day to hand out all the jellybeans!

Author's Response: Well thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it and hope you had a fun Easter yourself!

STOPPP this is absolutely canon for why Pam has jelly beans at her desk. UGH. I love this. :")))))

Also, so funny how yogurt is spelled differently across the pond. It always makes me question whether I know English, then I realize--with a Z--that I just grew up uncultured and thought that American spelling was the standard spelling for all English-speaking nations...anyway...gonna so slink away in shame.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much!!

Hahaha yes I'm an English speller, can't do it any other way hehe!!

Oh WOW!!!!! Firstly, you made me choke on my own laughter when I got to the "Please don't bring Michael into this fantasy" line hahahahaha. Amazing.

As for the smut? Adorable, realistic (the broken table), and--most importantly--hot. Loved it.

Frantic Pam rushing around trying to plan every last detail fits well. Kind if saw it coming that their plans to get to Scrantonnwoumd be derailed. I'm sure there will be other years. Word of advice Pam, fly out early.

Jim just being her calm anchor throught it all was great. He's not upset at her for rushing around. He just calmly carries on. Also loved the line about his good whiskey.

Then he brings a magical Christmas to life. Amazing what happens when he uses his pranking powers for good. Also loved the image of the classic JAM look for the gingerbread cookies. Great fun for sure.

Thanks for bringing this delightfully charming tale to life. Merry Christmas.

Author's Response:

Thank you as always for a lovely review! Glad you enjoyed my little ball of fluff

Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
