I really liked your description of Pam's show. I also liked how she was just sitting in a corner at first, and eventually, things really went well, except for the one thing that really mattered!

I just wanted to say I'm really enjoying this story - I read about it on the Office message board on the NBC site - and spent all last evening reading it - can't wait for more. I love how you've integrated many of the office characters into this.

Wow, this chapter was sad. I feel so bad for both Jim and Pam, jim couldn't help it but Pam has a right to be mad. You did a great job of adding conflict to the story without making either characters look bad. I can't wait until the next chapter! I hope it gets happier soon!

OoOoOoOoOoOo no!!! She is sooo evil. I have a feeling she like one of those girls that can never be happy so the people around her and cared for her should be just as miserable as she is! I have a feeling Jim just gave out too much info!!Plus how can she be married without being legally divorced from Jim? But wow. I'm gone for a couple of hours and all of this happens!! From what I read it doesn't seem like Karen is thrilled that Jim is seeing someone else, as if she expected him to pine after her forever. Urrrggggg!!! I hate hypocritical people!! She created on HIM! She got pregnant with ANOTHER mans baby? Yet she tries to sit there all wounded?!?! I don't think so! Please let Jim finally grow a set and stop letting Karen control the situation! I loved how Jim was soo proud of Pam and doesn't think of her as a waitress. But a very well written chapter! Please post again tonight...hopefully before 10:00?!?!? WOW you are almost done?!?!? What will I do? say it aint so! This is just too great of a fic to end!!

You might not believe me, but the way that Karen is in this story is actually based on someone that I actually knew. She and Jim are legally divorced, but she keeps thinking that she can find loopholes to get more and more from him. I know people who have gone through some really nasty divorces like this, unfortunately. People can be cruel.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to post by 10 (Eastern time), I still have a few edits that I need to make to the next chapter before posting, but it will be up sometime tonight. :)

Gah, ever since you started hinting at the angst and well, naming the chapters "calm before the storm", I click for new chapters with anticipation and dread. Because oh man, I don't even think I can imagine the shit that will hit the fan. Even this lovely filler chapter, all i read was, "Oh, JIm won't be there, will he?!?!?" Hee. But I'm loving it all, to be honest. I really adore this universe that you've created and how you've developed the characters and inserted them into this storyline. Wonderful writing style.
