Another lovely chapter, that Jim is so smart.
I gotta tell you though, I was holding my breath through the entire chapter...sparing you details, I work with a woman who lost her baby because he slept in the bed with her and her husband. I seriously doubted that's what you were going for, but I was terrified.

"Ryan wondered often how Jim could walk away from the likes of extremely sexy Karen and a sex kitten like Katy for someone as mousy as Pam." Ryan sure has a lot to learn about love, and I'm glad Jim gave him his first lesson. Very well done.

Ryan -- now that is an accidental heartbreak. That would be sad for Kelly and kind of pathetic for Ryan if he were to string to her along that long. I like how you wrote Ryan's realization that he is kind of a d!ck and actually, that it makes him to be sort of the pathetic one.

I'm loving this story! This chapter was especially good. I love stories about Jim basically being the most supernaturally perfect man/father/husband, and this one took it even further by having him defend Kelly.

Aww, flowers! I love Jim with the firm advice. Sigh.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Jim should give a talkking-to to every guy in the world.

This is a really nice concept. I am enjoying it very much!!

I like how Jim gets to put Ryan in his place. And how Ryan isn't willing (yet!) to admit that maybe the things he really wants are the things he's mocked Jim for all along.
I look forward to who Jim meets next, even if I'm not a Walmart fan. :-)

I'm really enjoying this fic. I have a huge soft spot for Married!Jim and Pam and like how it hasnt been all fluffy.

It's about time Ryan stepped up! I enjoyed your story very much. I hope there's more to come.

Go Jim!!! I'm enjoying these vignettes. Nice companions to your therapy story.

I love this! These stories are great, but I love what Jim says to Ryan there at the register. Ryan needs to stop using Kelly and own up to how he feels about her. I'm glad Jim's comments made Ryan think twice.
These Wslmart stories are great!

I really like that the people they keep meeting peripheral characters rather than the usual suspects. Great job and Target is soooo much cooler than WalMart.

You have domestic Jim/Pam but in a very realistic way. I like it. Plus, it is nice to have a story with Katy and Roy. Looking forward to more of this...

Awwww. Poor Katy. She is such a sympathetic character here.

And now it is Pam's turn to feel uncomfortable and angry, right? Do we get a Karen chapter next? :)

Okay...so I love so much about this story. First, it's the little details...the way you describe Jim putting a protective hand in front of the baby, and the way he touches the baby's tiny feet when he feels them kick him - perfect. Second, you have their (meaning Jim and Pam's) voices down perfectly. And I can totally see these interactions with Katy and Roy. And the Katy train of thought in the first chapter was spot on.
I love this story and cannot wait to hear more. I love your married Jim and Pam - it's exactly how I think life could be for them.

Another adorable chapter...and gotta love "muffing" the baby...Old School is an awesome film...haha
ok I feel so evil telling you this because I HATE correcting people, but about 4 times you wrote "advise" as in 'to give counsel.' So, it needs to be changed to "advice" as in 'a suggestion, an opinion' to fit in the proper tense...

Oh my god this was FANTASTIC! (and i've only read the first chapter)
I think this was the first 'Katy runs into Jim' story that made me feel really bad for her. Jim is afterall the perfect man.
And baby Johnathan makes me very happy...he'll be returning right?? gee i hope so!!

This is really wonderful. I'm not usually a fan of the running into the ex story, but you've managed to write such a great story I've overcome my prejudice. You're doing a great job of writing Jim and Pam and I can't wait to read more.

"The prices are rolled back Jim, and it has you losing your mind." - this line totally cracked me up! And I loved the "Muffs, please". Another great chapter.
