All I can say is this is the way it should have been. Beautifully written. When I'm reading Jim and Pam stuff, I sometimes forget that's who I'm reading about in the middle of the story. I never did here. The voices are very clearly them; so are Roy and Mark.
Thanks to EverybodyHurts for highlighting this story. Just killed off the most productive part of my Saturday morning!

So this is going to be a review on the entire story and not any specific chapter. I wanted to say that this is one of the best Jim and Pam stories I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I finally got around to reading it all last night and was so completely moved, its beautiful, funny, charming, sweet, and HOT. There are too many wonderful lines and moments to mention but I have to say that the scene in the kitchen where they are thisclose to kissing is just incredible. I was right there in the moment, you painted the picture of that scene so magnificently I could feel what they were going through. I also ADORED the Mark and Pam interaction! I loved your characterization of Mark, what little we know of him from the show you took and ran with and it was just perfect! Pam and Mark's sarcasm back and forth was hilarious and really reminded me of my relationships with guy friends of mine. they took on a very brother-sister like relationship, i loved that he wanted to protect her when Roy showed up. and Jim attacking Pam outside? that. was. HOT. so, so, so much love for this story and you for writing and sharing it with us! You = awesome.

Amazing! That was simply amazing! I'm telling you, you really should write a book. You have such a poetic way of describing things. And I love that you make Pam and Jim real. They have real fears and real weaknesses and they can be silly without all the giggling silliness that drives me nuts in other stories. And the emotion in this chapter was so thick! Loved it! I'm sitting here at work trying not to cry. Just *sigh* wonderful. Thank you so much for writing it. Hope you don't keep us waiting long for a new story. ;)

Sorry so late with the review, but you see, I kept rereading this and I honestly cannot find proper words to describe how great this chapter was. It wasn't smut, not at all, more like beautiful poetry, with the visual images your words conjur up, just, gah...Jim and Pam in looove!
Then his line about building her a terrace, followed by the Browning poetry, well you made me all weepy. :)
Thank you so much for writing this. Good fanfic is like really good chocolate or coffee, or both together. Yum.

ok first of all, mark is SO funny! his reaction is exactly what i expect an overexcited guy to do. hehe. also, i love how pam finally decides to just go for it and see how it feels to wrap her arms around Jim. what i wouldn't give... :) anyway, i also love that this chapter ends with her asking for pizza. b/c after you've confessed your love to the man of your dreams, what else is there?
another chapter for me to catch up on obviously :)
but i really love the way they come together in this chapter. it's wonderful.

That was great. Thank you for the time and the work, and thanks for the epilogue. Having this to read today is helping pull me out of my post-Potter let down.
About "The Sexin'," I do believe that was the most spiritual, primal scene I've read. I really loved the image of the rib - that imagery took away the "cheese" factor of soul-mate and made it more physical/tangible.
Really enjoyed it.

I am always so happy with your stories...all 4 of them, haha...I really enjoy them and hope that you continue writing here. I especially liked the repartee b/n them in bed, because I was also thinking that things were getting kind of out of hand and apparently so did Jim. Great stuff :)

Aww, virtual applause to you and this satisfying ending to a wonderful story. I particularly loved this line:
He smiled to himself wondering when he became the kind of guy who got the girl.
Your language and mood throughout is so poetic and romantic - and it really works! I was worried that Jim was going to propose in the diner. That would have been cheesy. But I didn't think the party was cheesy at all. Hopefully we'll get to see something like that on the show one day. Great work.

I can honestly say that this is THE most beautiful Pam and Jim fanfic that I've ever read. Period. You stay true to the characters and everything is completely believable. The only way I can describe you're writing is that it's like poetry, reminiscent of the fluidity of Yeats. Everytime I read this (which I've done at least eight times) I always settle down with a nice glass of wine. Bravo. I could go on and on about this fic. It moves me to tears everytime. PLEASE keep on. You're brilliant!
