That surprised me. I thought for sure that Jim would go back to Karen, not because he loved her, but because he felt it was the right thing to do. I'm glad you didn't go that route.

She didn't have a miscarriage, did she?
That happened on The OC.
Why must I constantly get addicted to angst?

she's lying isn't she? like that bitch on scrubs!! And like in Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants book 3!! Ahhh! I'm so into this story you have no idea. Just the other day I was thinking about how much it would suck if Karen were pregnant...and today 2 stories on just that topic! How lucky am I?
can't wait for more! :)

Aww geez. I really hope this doesn't go the Karen/Pam pregnant at the same time route with that last little bit there. Unless bad things happen to Jim all at once. And then that would be a perfect way for it to happen. Now I just hope I didn't put an idea into your head. I love this just the way it is! Don't change a thing!
Author's Response:
Ha! No, no need to worry there, that's not where it's going. Hmm, but now that you mention it... ;)
Thanks for reviewing!

Very captivating story so far. I'm interested to see where it goes. Life often throws us curves, it's in how we handle them that we are measured as people. This is one of the toughest situations someone would have to handle since so much more than your own well being is at stake.

Damn. At first I didn't want to read this since my heart is still recovering from the last sad JAM story I read, but then I decided to "grow a pair" and read it anyway. I'm glad I did - you've done an awesome job with a very sensitive and painful subject. All 3 of their reactions to the news seemed so real. Can't wait to see what's next.

As someone who absolutely loves Jim and Pam together, I'm kinda surprised that I loved this story! Even though we know it would never happen, its written so realistically that I can actually see it happening. Does that make sense? Anyway, its awesome and I anxiously await the next chapter!
