i also love this Pam. some people write her and it's too much, but you nailed it, i think. is it weird that i can hear Jim in my head saying, "Absolutely, and now it's your turn"? i think i love this show a little too much. good thing i have people like you to write lovely fanfiction such as this.

Talk about an auspicious start - chapter one and he's already de-pantsed. Says a lot that you can make this so very hot, yet not even have them in the same state...also, here's what makes the heat work for me - it sounds just like them, not like sexy-time characters #1 and 2, who happen to look like Jim and Pam. I am a big fan of non-sexy sexiness... things that are sexy because of their lack of a studied sexiness, like nerdy glasses or my husband's hair in the morning.

This is so cute so far! I'm sure none of us would have imagined that the date being immediately canceled would turn out so well, but this is very promising.
Also, I found both Jim and Pam totally relatable in this chapter, since I too always assume people are annoyed with me when they're not quite themselves, and I feel weird talking on the phone when I'm in a state of undress. So, thank you, this chapter made me feel like there are others like me out there :)
Author's Response: You are very welcome! I actually played with the idea of the first date for a while, and then realized that what these characters really thrive on is obstacles. I think that's why we love them.

I love everything about this. Great dialogue, sexy and a nice new twist on Post-Job Jim and Pam. Can't wait to see more. Like I don't know already what's going to happen here. ;) I especially enjoyed the story about him calling her naked. It's unexpected, and adds some nice detail to the piece.
