Whoa! Present tense. I generally slip between present and past, but generally (once my beta gets through it), it is all past. So it is a difference (in a good way), to read present. But it always shocks me a bit at first.
Wow, it was really good. I don't care how many Casino Night fics I read, I love them all. And this one... ah, how I wish that is what happened....
And HP sucks. Haha. Sorry. Just had to throw that out there. Its just not my cup of tea. :P

Um...excuse me? Except for the last part, I read this! It was part of my birthday night fic (a tiny sliver). So don't lie!
Also, *kiss kiss* I loooooooove you soooooooo much! This may get me to finish writing one of the fire fics. Because we currently have two. No. Wait. Three. One with only SS. One with SS and JAM. One JAM. That's three.

a) I used to read your OC fics, and they were quite excellent.
2) This, too, is quite excellent. I really enjoy that you decided to write a Casino Night fic. I think I've really missed that element of them denying the sexual tension and UGGGH THE KISS THAT KILLED ME and...yeah. Quite nicely done.

First of all, LOL @ your author's note. Ha!
And second of all: LOVE the story. I don't care if there are a thousand, million Casino Night stories, I will never get tired of them. And this one is really well written. I love that Pam isn't all, "Oh, everything is perfect now, la la la!" She realizes that this is a huge deal and that everything has to change in order for this to happen, and that that might be terrible and difficult, but it's worth it.
Third of all, OMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR HARRY POTTER, EITHER!!! DAMMIT!!!

I liked this. Nicely written.

Maybe I am still stuck on Casino Night, hoping that Season 3 was all a dream (a rather nice dream at the end, though) but this fic is just another great version of what happened.

So, so, so pretty. I adore it! I love how sparingly and meaningfully you used actual dialogue.

But you know Jim, the tiny voice in her head whispers, and she does. She knows what he likes for lunch, what movies he's seen. She knows his handwriting, barely legible scribbles that he never even bothers to sign anymore, begging her to think of a new game.
She knows how to tell when he is actually irritated, and when he's faking it so that no one will bug him.
She knows how he looks when he's trying to beat her Sudoku record, peering at the screen with a concentrating frown, his tongue just barely poking out. And even then he can never really hold still, he moves around restlessly like he's playing a video game, and when he finally does pause for more than a second, she knows that he's about to shoot her a grin that she knows will make her knees tremble.
You know Jim pretty well too.

When I am about to die, I stop being about to die, and be awesome instead. True story. [even if it makes no. sense.]
This was amazing, by the way. I love what you've got of Pam's voice, here - that constant, nagging feeling, reminding her this is Jim, this is Jim - and I adore that you don't just point out different things between Roy and Jim, but things that are slightly similar - the nose-smushing, for one. And I loved her knowing him, what she knew of him, what she didn't, what he makes her feel when telling her how he feels. Your writing style is lovely and so Pam at the same time, I love it. eck, I can't get over how well you've gotten her.
See I've had a problem since watching the ending episodes of season three - I can no longer read the fics about happy-ever-afters before those episodes happened, because I want her to grow up and be what she is now, all Fancy and New, and I want Jim to realise what he is with and without her on his own, and anything before those, it just seems like cheating the characters now, you know? But somehow I love this. It's - perfect. I can deal with this.
Write more while you wait. Argh, it's still a day and a half away!
