This is so lovely, Queen B. It's one of those moments when you find out how well two people can truly work together. It's a sensitive time with so much potential to go horribly wrong, but I think you handled it exceptionally well. I think you got Jim and Pam's voices down just right.

I know when my dad died, I wish I had a Jim there. You got Pam down I think, just her reactions to the death.
"(as women's fashions are required to be)" Which is why i don't own a dress. I barely wear the skirts I own. I don't own anything fancier than a skirt, I am best in jeans and a tshirt :)
It brought tears to my eyes because Pam's reaction is so much with what I live with on a daily basis - whenever I think about my dad and what he missed.

That was beautiful. It makes me love Jim even more! Especially this part:
Jim raised her hand to his lips and placed a soft kiss. "There may be more time for that later. Like you said, it's been surreal for both of you. People grieve in different ways. She may just need some more time for it to sink in. But she's a strong woman. It's where you get it from."
