poor stanely. nothing goes his way. its like.... it would be like if it was pretzel day and right before it was his turn they ran out of pretzels. it just isn't cool!
Author's Response:
Emily, I'm surprised you found this little fic after all this time!
I'm enjoying seeing a bit of Stanley in deleted scenes and hearing Leslie on the commentary. Stanley just needs a bit of love and attention, and a lot of holidays, and pretzel day. And no, it wouldn't be cool to run out of pretzels right before Stanley's turn!
Thanks so much for reviewing, Emily! You're dawesome!

This is perfect, quintessential Stanley! I can hear his voice and see his expresions. Niiiiiiiiiice!
Author's Response:
Thanks so much, pamcasso! I'm actually not sure I can do a 'full-on' Stanley, but I figured if it was just his thoughts, I'd have more of a chance. I'm so glad you think I got him right.
Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Ha ha! That totally would happen to Stanley. Poor Stanley. I'd give him a hug but he would probably sigh in disdain.
Anyway, nice 55-word piece!
Author's Response:
"I don't know who these new people think they are. I've had to deal with BlueJeanBaby and her hugs for years. Never said a word."
Thanks for reading and reviewing, BJB!

hah! poor stanley. i love, and also feel badly for, all of his grumbly misfortunes. i love that he thinks phyllis' perfume is stinky. and i can totally see him sitting, waiting for AAA, doing a crosswork puzzle or just sitting there with his arms crossed, looking irritated. It's what Stanley does best!
Author's Response:
Maybe his wife Terri can turn around his grumblies a bit - you never know.
I enjoyed seeing Stanley again last week in Business School. In came the bat, and out went Stanley "Goooood bye." It is the kind of thing Stanley does best.
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

he he, oh Stanley. Don't worry, Pretzel day will be here again soon.
Author's Response:
On Pretzel Day? Well, Stanley likes pretzel day.
Pretzel Day can't come soon enough for Stanley. I have to think he takes the occasional vacation week and looks forward to it all year as well. It would be a bonus to have Melissa off at camp...
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, ladama.

awww, poor Stanley! He never get a break! Great work TLK!!!
Author's Response:
I know! Hopefully, he'll get that tire changed and be on his way.
Thanks for reading and reviewing, downtown!

Ack, poor Stanley. But unlike Michael I'm guessing he can change it. And at least he got a few miles away. He can probably breathe easier.
I wonder if Poconos is like Scottsdale. Where was he really going? Maybe we need a sequel.
Author's Response:
I think he was really going to Scottsdale, and planning a nice, relaxing time with his wife. No work idiots, no sex-pot daughter to worry about...Although I think Melissa could get into trouble anywhere. Late night swim over to the boys' camp? There's the sequel. All yours, Swedge. ;)

Poor Stanley. Here's hoping he has a few extra books of crossword puzzles to do while he waits for AAA....
Author's Response:
Of course! I was thinking he'd change the tire, but he'd just wait for triple A! I wonder if Terri does crossword puzzles also, or if she's sort of a crossword-puzzle widow? Hmm.
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Stanley, the manley! I hope he packed some pretzels....
Author's Response:
Also some water for changing a tire in the hot sun, with no FNB in sight.
Going off on vacation should be like Pretzel Day for Stanley, but no...
