No, I think I really want to know what gesture Lewis made... was it "the shocker?" Anyway, I don't know why you'd want to shout out to HalloweenJack138, he's never written anything that anyone LIKED and you're a much better writer, anyway. He's the Certified Used Volvo and you're the new 2008 Thundercougarfalconbird.
Wow, Marc Jacobs must have been quite the speller in his pre-denim days. No wonder Sonic Youth hitched their trailer to his star. Still, Ben Sherman could outspell him any day of the week, and Fred Perry would own the both of them.
Seriously, though, every time I read this own I'm impressed by all the little details you're able to work in while not bogging down any of the humor or the brilliance of the narrative... you're one hell of a writer, Blithe-Heart, and I wish you'd write more Office stories.
But you knew that already.

Ha! Such a random concept, and very fun. I love The Looinater ;)

So I finally got around to leaving you a proper review for this. Can I just say how glad I am that you've decided to post a few things over here? I'm not one to throw stones, but this place kicks ffnet's trash all the way down the street and around the corner!
This story is as funny as I remember it the first time I read it. You have such a knack for dialogue and observation. Just fantastic stuff all the way around.

This line:
He sighs, spinning around in his new fancy Corporate leather chair in his bleak Ryan-ish way.
just cracked me up.
This story was so funny and true to the show. Loved all the talking heads. Loved when Jim started worrying that he was becoming like Dwight. Loved that they ran off with the trophy. Great, great job. Keep writing!

This was pitch-perfect. And yes, damn funny.

Kasier Chiefs! Everything is average nowadays. But, ahm, surely someone guessed it already.
Freaking brilliant, this is. There's something in the way you write this that leaves me snorting, and it's almost reminiscent to the general Office-writing style, because it's not in-your-face humour but something that kind of sinks in, if you're willing to see it. And seeing as that's one of the things I love about the show...well.
Perfect characterisations, too; I can imagine Pam looking meticulously over blank pieces of letterhead, Jim hoping the computer will explode [or at least get some acrid smoke out the back], Dwight comparing that new skill to his [as if vouching for his own], Oscar's envy, Kevin, Michael, Ryan...brilliant. And the tiny references here and there that got me grinning - such a Jim-perspective, I like it. And Mullet Man. And. And. And.
And I can't get over the basic plot of this, either - so basic, like I said, but it's played up the exact way it would be, especially by these characters. Winning solitaire! On his computer and then Pam's and then from Angela's hands - oh, so good.
Also! [sorry, I don't seem to be able to stop.] I love that I didn't realise this was after 'The Job' until Ryan's higher-up position was mentioned around a third into the story - this is the kind of dynamic I want to see in the fourth season, not mush, thanks very much.
I also want Jim's trophy.
I read your sandwich story on fanfiction.net and I knew I was reading something amazing, and this seems to vouch for it, so. I want to see more of this, so.
Author's Response: You know what? I think you're the nicest reviewer I've ever had. Seriously. You're smart, you go on and on and make me feel like a good writer, excellent taste in music (can you believe that not a single person caught the Kaiser Chiefs on ff.net?). What more can a poor writer ask for? You totally got the whole point of everything, and thank you for being so concerned about my copyright issues. XD Yeah, I'm IHE, but I've kind of started hating the name, but once you get recognition it's hard to change... le sigh. I'm doing a collaboration with several other authors and Cousin Mose wanted it posted on here, so I figured I might as well create an account. Go check it out! ^^

"Everything Is Average Nowadays" by the Kaiser Chiefs. What do I win?
I liked this; it was cute and felt like the structure of an episode. Looking forward to reading more from you.
Author's Response: Yes! Yes! Kaiser Chiefs! Ah! Not A SINGLE PERSON GUESSED IT AT FF.NET. Scary, scary, scary. You're the first! Except for moofoot. Guess I'll just have to post over here more... you people have better taste in music. XD If you want to set something up... I'll be free mid-september. *glances at calendar in horror* The other one is the Strokes, You Talk Way Too Much. ^^
