When I saw the title "Empty Calories" and the pairing "Kandy" all I could think about were Tastykake Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes. Yummmm. I always have to take a suitcase full when I go to Indy since they don't sell them west of the Miss. River. Oh, and I guess this is a good time to say, cute story!!!

hehe. it really is one of those pairings that i can't see always when i think about it from the show part (actually, well, not that i remember, but i thought of a clip last night that seemed to contradict any hope of romance), but in fic, you can see both of the characters still in character and it makes sense. its odd, its cute, and its just fun.
but, still, that story is also my reaction - those two? really? how? they never talk.

Ha, this made me smile. The Kandy movement could probably use a little dose of reality. I'm all for the Kandy just because it's a shipper names that Kelly herself would approve, plus I never quite understood the Kryan love.

Haha, so true, Kandy is completely in our heads, but they so belong together! And in Beach Games they had a few scenes together, my favorite being the part where Kelly is the only one cheering on Andy during the hotdog eating contest. Makes me squee every time I see it! But yeah, Kandy is definitely just a figment of our imaginations. I honestly never thought to put them together until I read a fic by dollsome called "Accidental Harmony" that was so perfectly in character that she made a believer out of me, and really it wasn't that hard since I'm in love with Ed Helms and would love to see his character develop some more.
