I agree, Crush is the ultimate JAMthem! Each chapter gets sweeter and sweeter, keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Another DMB fan heard from! Thank you!

A story that combines two of my favorite things...JAM and DMB. You are a goddess, you know this, right? And you are soooo right, Crush IS the Jam Anthem, alright.
A thousand schrute bucks to you...
Author's Response: Aww! I was hoping you would read this because I knew you were a DMB fan. Thanks for reviewing.

Sweetpea,
This one made me squee out loud. Those two are so cute together. I snorted at Jim's additional items on the list as well. And thanks for the visual of scruffy, shirtless, singing Halpert. Mmmm.
Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed it, EH. I'm having too much fun with this - so cool to have your very own Halpert Doll you can make do whatever you want. Ahem.

Twister, vegetable oil -- WHAT? Ha! So freaking adorable.
Author's Response:
Isn't he, though? I can't wait to see what he's going to do next!

Stubbly, shirtless, baseball hat festooned, joyous Jim belting out a song? Best image I've had in my mind in ages. His list was SO funny and so him. Fabulous dialogue, utterly delicious. These slices of life are positively addictive.
Author's Response: Colette, the shirtless and stubbly bit was intended for you!! Just returning the Jim-in-a-towel favor! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for reviewing.

I just got into this series of vignettes and they are just so lovely. It takes songfic to an entirely different level.
Oh and one edit you may need to make, from one DMB fan to another: The song in question is not "Crush", it's "Crash into Me" :) Crush is an entirely different but still wonderful DMB song.
Author's Response:
albie, I'm so new at this, I didn't even know there was such a thing as songfic! I cheated on this one and used BOTH 'Crash Into Me' (the opening verse which I see as Pam's thoughts about Jim) and the song they both sing is 'Crush' - my favorite. I took a little license and shortened the first song to 'Crash' for a less awkward title.
Anyway, stay tuned and thanks for reviewing. The chapter inspired by 'Rapunzel' should be, um, interesting!

Oh, I just loved that so much!!
Author's Response: Thanks! This one was a ton of fun to write.

Brilliance. This is the kind of thing a writer reads and wishes like heck she would have thought of it first! GREAT STUFF!
Author's Response:
Wow! LoveFool, you're too kind and this will probably keep my head bowed over the laptop cranking out the next one when I should be balancing my checkbook. Thank you so much.

Mmm. This goes great with my cup of coffee. No Halperts in my bed though ;o(
Author's Response:
Who couldn't use a Halpert in their bed? I've just realized that I have them drinking way too much coffee. Maybe I should get some sleep. Thanks, lisahoo!

Hee -- love this: "while he’s felt like an overgrown yellow Lab, all paws and eagerness and just plain goofy" Nice doggy. Sit. Heel.
And the dessert is still good, so, win!
Author's Response: You know there's a big puppy inside that tall drink of water! Thanks, lisahoo.

I'm addicted to this chapter. Seriously, they're all awesome but I may need rehab to stop reading this one. :)
Can't wait for more!
Author's Response:
Aw, sweet! Thank you!

Ugh...I think I need to go back and read the other ones now! lol
Author's Response: Yeah, I know, I know! I really appreciate the reviews, LoveFool.

::sigh:: I want to live inside this story...is that weird?
Author's Response: If it's weird, then we're both in the same freak show! I've been lucky enough to have several Sunday mornings just like this, so I want our lovebirds to have the same bliss. Thank you for reviewing.

Seriously this is so deliriously them. And haven't we all been there when something we've been anticipating and wanting to go just perfectly well -- is suddenly the worst bust ever! I could so feel Jim's frustration. I'm so happy that you had Pam lighten the mood and they wound up having a great time. SUCH GOOD STUFF!
Author's Response:
My real life disaster date was actually a camping trip that went horribly wrong - much worse than this - so I knew they could rise above it and make it a good night. Thanks so much for reviewing.

Oh I love these sooooooo much! This is fantastically sweet and sexy!
Author's Response: I just know that once these two start, they won't be able to keep their hands off each other. Thanks!

AWESOME. Spot on dialogue and I love the simplicity of it!
Author's Response: So good to hear, because I kept trying to add more, or make it into more, but finally let it be. Thanks so much.

These are really cute! I've got some of these songs on my own iPod :-) I am a sucker for Jim calling Pam "Bees." And "I love you. Every day." Awwww. Looking forward to reading more!
Author's Response:
I LOVE it when he calls her Bees, too! Now, I just realized he's only ever done this in fanfic, so the new season better get here quickly, because I'm losing my grip on reality. Thanks, sudzy!

I'm loving these so much! I can totally see all of this happening! Can't wait for more! :)
Author's Response:
Thank you! I'm really enjoying this, so I hope I don't jinx myself by saying the updates are going to be coming quickly. TWSS.

These are such sweet glimpses into their life together. Love this. More please!
Author's Response:
Thank you, kells!

You can go through every song on your ipod and just keep writing these stories, because they're perfect and I will keep reading and smiling. Love the fluff, sweetpea!
Author's Response: That's the plan, EH! There are a few songs that might take us into dangerous waters, but I have faith in Big Tuna. Thank you!

If only we could see this scene on the show. Perfect boy-meal (yum), love how frazzled Jim gets - and that her laughter makes him take it in stride. “What? Isn’t this how you do it? Pam, it’s kind of sexy, really. You have no idea what I can do with pair of tongs.” and “It’s tradition in my family!” sounded so Jim, and cracked me up. This really captures the vibe between them...hope you'll do a hundred more of these. Totally delightful.
Author's Response:
I love frazzled Jim! Nobody who reveals so much with a look is cool all the way through. I think we're going to see more of uncool Jim. Thanks, Colette!

Love how he kisses her silly, then sends her on her way (yeah, right.) This captures that urgent, giddy, new relationship feeling so well - with all the playfulness those two would have. I'm grinning from ear to ear.
He knows exactly how to kiss her. To make her feel better, to stop her tears, to make her laugh, to say he loves her, and like today, to make her lose her mind, just a little.
I bet he does.
Author's Response:
Oh, Colette, you KNOW he does!

Aw, total sweetness. Here's to much healing and smooching in S4! Great job, Sweetpea.
Author's Response: I'm all for lots of smooching and sweetness! Thanks, Susan.

Aw. Nervous Jim. Flirty Pam. I'm so there. In-character dialogue is the hardest thing, IMO, to do well - and this does that. Very sweet.
Author's Response: Thank you! I worried over this one the most, so far, so I'm glad it worked.
