This was weird, and a waste of time. Both of them were unbelievable, so far out of character as to be painful. I just kept waiting for it to get better, and it just ... ended. :

I dont get it. Somehow I feel like its written well but at the same time it seems like you've got Pam going in a million different directions. Maybe that was the point? I guess its another way of thinking but instead of having them be together or sepreate in the end you put them in some kind of limbo. Weird stuff. I honestly think I would have liked this better if they went their sepreate ways. (of course this is all personal opinion)

The ups and downs of this story amazed me, antagonized me, bewildered me, and in the end made me very, very happy. Because without all those up (and downs!) this story would not have ended so pivotally. The ending is both powerful, beautiful, and believable. Great, great story!

I've enjoyed reading your story and it has kept me intrigued and wanting more, chapter after chapter, although I have to admit that Pam's thought process has been a little bewildering to me at times. That doesn't mean it's not good, though. Reading your comments as the chapters end, I think sometimes you're too hard on yourself. I admire your writing courage and you've brought the story around to a place where Jim and Pam can finally communicate on a sane level. You're right about Jim needing to grow a pair so he and Pam could go to the next level in their relationship. Looking forward to your continued updates. Keep going!

Oh, man, I am so sorry I'm like a month late on this. I really appreciate your comment, though, I've just had a lot on my hands.
I really wanted Pam to be crazy-confused because I think it's part of what keeps her character believable, at least for this story.

I just read all the way through to this and I wanted to say great fic!
I love that you had Pam falling sort of out of love with Jim and writing him the letter because it's totally realistic that it happens when they're spending so much time apart and mad at each other. Rambly sentence that maybe didn't say what I wanted it to, but okay. Update soon please!

i am not against pb&j by any means...i am a ginormous fan, to be honest! i just REALLY love the angst. when i'm writing and it's all angsty like this, and i give it a bit of resolve or happiness to the ending, i kind of feel like it's lifting my own angst...yes, i'm that obsessive a writer :]

Hm... I have to agree with Jim here -- what's the point? If she doesn't love him or want him, why is she doing this? I agree that there is a place for Pam to be angry in S3, but this feels kind of out of character; she just seems to be manipulating him. I'm curious to see where this will go.
Author's Response: I agree that this is out of character, but it has a point. I had this chapter written a while back, but lost the best version when my computer crashed. I'll be working on it and will let everyone know when I'm fully happy with it...Or, I may just take it down. I don't know, I'm not happy with it. I know it's OOC, that's one of the major things I'm working on. Thanks for the review and for reading!
