So glad to see you updated this - and what a great chapter! I just loved it, and there were so many great lines:

Ok, you're not shunned as long as it doesn't take another month for an update. Also, great chapter. Not just in the 'turning the corner' between Jim & Pam, but for having them do that in a plausible way.
Even though it’s wreaking major havoc on my nerves, I love this new game we’re playing. Like now that we’ve crossed the most dangerous threshold, and there’s no going back, we might as well enjoy it. Wow. Just, wow. That is just delicious.

OK, I haven't even READ this yet but I just have to post that I am so excited that you finally posted the next hour, Wendy Blue! I just took a quick look before leaving for choir practice to see if there was anything new. I can't wait to get home in a few hours!!!!

Oh. My. Gosh! First of all, WELCOME BACK I was sooo excited when I saw you updated! I've been looking for this story for ages!!

Oooohhh, the kiss was so amazing! I love the way you described it:
it’s so heartbreakingly real that I don’t even breathe as I kiss her once, twice, and then it’s an uncountable series of them, one right after the other in quick, stolen succession. They’re never more than a breath apart before they’re happening again, each more urgent and passionate than the last.
And:
when I catch her bottom lip with my teeth, when she kisses the corner of my unshaven jaw and it sounds like sandpaper, when I push her head to the side with my nose so I have better access to her cheeks
I can just hear that sound of her kissin his sanaper jaw, and I love the picture of him nudging her face with his nose so he can kiss her cheeks.

Oh my gosh I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this was updated!!! And what an awesome update it was! I can't believe all this angst is paying off - that makeout scene was so perfectly heartbreaking and beautiful. I, like Jim, would love to know what Pam is thinking right about now haha. You know most of my thoughts about this already, but I'll repeat them here because this story is so dawesome it deserves all the reviews it can handle!
Love the difference in how the car's engine sounds to Jim, how it no longer sounds hopeful anymore. Love the smooch as well--even if it was more Jack/Rose than Lloyd/Diane--it was a perfect moment and very well written. And I love that Pam is now "in the driver's seat" as it were. Symbolic, much? :D
Now, let's not make this whole thousand years between updates thing become a habit, shall we? Good.

I love that you went with the "My Heart Will Go On" inspired moment; this kiss was perfect, and I absolutely adored every second of it in reading it through Jim's perspective. I really enjoy this story. I think it is brilliant to put them together for 24 hours straight. There isn't that time for them to regroup and put their feelings in check. I can't wait to see what happens as the day unfolds.

Oh, man I don't think I can wait that long for another update. This is a great chapter...keeps me hanging on, waiting...wanting more! It's so typical for them to act the way you wrote them. I'm hoping Jim finds the catalyst he needs soon to give him a shove towards confession. Or, maybe it's Pam who needs to confess....? Whoever it is, I hope they do it soon. I was so glad to see this update. You sure left us with quite the cliffhanger. So, neither one is ready to say anything yet. You have S2 Jim & Pam down perfectly in this.
