Very good! And I love the portrayal of how Jim needs Karen as protection from Pam.

I don't like angst, but I did love this story! You did a great job expanding on that episode. And this line said it all: "He’s trying as hard as he can to keep up with Karen, to be what she wants him to be, but one word from Pam, one sideways glance, one wrinkle of her brow sends him back to square one." Very well done. Congrats on your first Office fic.

I'm so glad I clicked on your name and found this gem. Really wonderful angst for an episode I thought couldn't possibly have any more! So well done. You are a natural.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, bitterpill! This was one of the most instense episodes, in my opinion, as far as angst and awkwardness goes. I appreciate your review!!

Really, really, really nice job. Especially the part with him listening to her on the phone at the end. Pitch perfect.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I've heard a lot about your story 'Not a Word', which is on my 'must read' list. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

wow, first fic? seriously, this was amazingin all ways. i love the thoughts you added, i love that episode (even though many don't), and i think this is amazing. wow.
Author's Response: Thank you so much; I appreciate you taking the time to comment! I love that episode too, but I'm a glutton for punishment and I really kind of thrive on the angst. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it.

This is excellent. It's so beautifully written and I think very much the way Pam and Jim would be thinking. It's actually not difficult to read, angst-wise, knowing we ended the season with "it's a date." Lovely job.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you think it's not too angsty. It is a huge comfort to know things are getting resolved, but I just can't help but revel in the angst. I appreciate your very kind words!

OUCH! That was my grief bone you just shattered! That was written exceptionally well and true to Jim and Pam and what each of them must have been thinking. OUCH!
Author's Response: Let me give you a band-aid! That episode is really one of the most painful for me, because Pam shoots to kill pretty much and that look on Jim's face just breaks my heart. I'm pleased you found it well written, if not a bit heart-breaking. Thanks for taking the time to review!

Such a great start, and you've really captured that point in time where everything they said and did to each other just broke my heart.
I can't wait for more. :)
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing! I'm glad we seem to be on the same wave length. The last half of S3 was ... gut-wrenching. I hope I don't sound too dramatic, but it was often hard to watch. I'm glad you liked it!

I love angst too ;-) Great fic. Well done. I especially liked the very end, which was so poetically crafted. Hope to see more from you!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! Your kind words have made me giddy!

That was really brilliant. Just so in tune with that episode and with the theme of season 3. Just so unbelievably well written. Congratulations on entering the awesome and addicting world of Office fanfic; hope to read more from you!
Author's Response: Thank you for such a warm welcome. I am kind of kicking myself for not watching the Office sooner, but I was introduced to S1 this summer and knew I had to get caught up. S3 was definitely the hardest to watch. One of the reasons I love Pam and Jim is because it's just so... real.

YAY YAY YAY!
Okay, here's my real review: On one hand, :D because this is so perfectly *them*. Just. YES. On the other, D: because why angst, Linzi, WHYYYYYYYYY.
Now you must write 1239812031203 happy!fics to make up for it.
I really liked this, though, don't mistake that. And I'm so proud of you! &SQUISH;
Author's Response: Ali, I love you so much. You have always, always supported my writing and you're just such a good friend. You should know that I am always heavy on the angst, but I will try to write something fluffy to make you smile. ILU.
