i've just been catching up on these and as usual they're hilarious. this one though, takes the cake. my absolute favorite part was "I can't believe it's not Beesly." that's the BEST Michael-nickname ever!!!! also, poor Tiffany. i really do feel sorry for her, except, what does she expect??? Pam really is just that awesome, and Jim really is just that in love. Pam really has never had the greatest timing haha
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun writing this one.

Gah! You had me with the hilarity of the awkward situation until Dwight got all turned on by soil. Yikes.
Author's Response: LOL.. sorry to gross you out Belsum.. but really. Was it worse than seeing Dwight and Angela getting it on? I sat with my hand over my face for about five minutes after that...

First of all I love that it's poor Daryl that finds Michael's shower set-up. Secondly, Dwight's list of reasons why showering outside is dangerous has to be one of the funniest things I've ever read!
Author's Response: Thank you! I try to dream up the most off the wall things a person could say and then tailor them to Dwight's rigid, almost obsessive personality. And Voila! instant stupidity.
Date: August 07, 2008 02:05 pm Title: Slick Days
Oh man, that one is SO elaborate and yet...I can believe that Phyllis, Andy, and Stanley would go along with it even if they hadn't been in on it! Love that it back-fired on Jim just a little bit, too.
Author's Response: lol.. I like to embarrass Jim a little bit here and there... thanks!

LOL -- This is so so clever. I'm amazed @ 03:50. I just couldn't go to sleep until I read it!!
Author's Response: Oh my God. Thank you so much but go to sleep! lol..

Seriously you are the best. I love these. Always put a smile on my face and leave me satisfied. ;) Your characterization is so spot on. Always a treat to read them.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, I really appreciate you saying that!

Adorable. You captured their voices so well.
Author's Response: Thanks Nan!

Rich and delicious. Thank you for that mid-day treat, when I should be being productive or something. And you know how I love Dwight. So subtle, how you played Michael's reaction to Dwight being upset. He does have a tender heart doesn't he? That curious combination of maddening and endearing.
Thanks as always k.
MCC
Author's Response: Thanks MCC (that's cool. That should be your rapper name :) .Yeah, Michael is kinda a softie... a really annoying softie... Thanks again!

Ah, good old Jim. Keep the cold opens coming! (And I stand by what I said- you should be writing the openers on the show, yours are better by far!)
Author's Response: EASY there...lol... I appreciate the compliment, though. Thank you!

:D:D silly Jim...
Author's Response: lol.. thanks!

That's a nice turn of events, Jim is very cunning. This made me smile.
Author's Response: "Cunning". I like that word. Thanks!

LOL... You have such a way of making Dwight seem so real... Clothes being stolen by a Hawk.. ONLY believable if Dwight said it. This is hilarious -- Thank you for another WONDERFUL Cold Opening!!! Keep 'em coming~ :D
Author's Response: Thanks! i'm glad you liked!

LOL! I needed that (just read wendolf's latest update). Thanks for always bringing a smile to my face, k : )
Author's Response: No prob, Nan.. Thanks! I'm about to read Philly Jim now... oh no... where will I get a laugh afterwards?

I love your pranks on Dwight. So funny, I was laughing out loud. Love-sick days, priceless. Another great job!

"Little Jimmy should be all recovered today after having
received his… medicine yesterday.
JIM
(a little embarrassed)
Probably… shouldn’t have let you read that out loud."
Amazing. Why can't you write cold opens for the actual show? This was well worth the wait and I can't wait for the next one!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! And boy, I WISH I could be the Cold Opening writer.... That would be the best job on earth. Thanks again!
Date: July 29, 2008 10:00 pm Title: Slick Days
Thanks again so MUCH, Kevin! I love Jim's trying not to "call on" Andy. Who is simply unable to give it a rest and always hits that glaringly wrong note. And, you mess with Dwight in a manner that is actually very respectful of him...finding stuff to be outraged about feeds his soul.
It always delights me to see when you've posted something - thanks for making us laugh yet again!
Author's Response: Oh, definitely my pleasure! And I never really thought of that with Dwight... Here I was just thinking I was messing with him...lol... Thanks!
