Oh, Pam, trust your instincts!! Don't let Libby get disappointed by another guy who can't love her back!
Can I smack those two upside the head? Please!
Author's Response: Feel free to smack away! As I'm writing this, I have to keep reminding myself that this is season 2 pam...she doesn't trust herself at all. Poor Pam :( As always, thanks for your review!

wow. I think somewhere deep down I've been aching for something like this (twss). thank you for fulfilling that desire (twss). ok, enough twss. this looks very promising. cant wait to read what's next!
Author's Response: LOL! Thanks so much for your review. I know what you mean about aching for a certain type of story, so I'm so appreciative of your comments. I hope the rest of the story doesn't disappoint.

I love this story and this chapter did not disappoint as usual...im just scared after i read your review response to Becky215's review...But I'll wait until I see what I think of Libby before i pass final judgment...I'm scared though!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review. It's not my intention to scare anyone...really. I just need to get Pam to go through some of the stuff she did in Season 3...just a bit earlier. She needs a push, no?

Aaahhhh! The angst! I love it though - who am I kidding? Come on some fluff though, I love that too...
Author's Response: I'm of the opinion that fluff is best after gorging yourself on angst. Don't worry...there will most certainly be fluff. Thanks so much for reviewing!

Uh, oh, Pammy's in for a heap of trouble.
I like the addition of Patrick into the mix, too. This is so much fun to read. Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Pammy sure is. Thanks so much for your review. I'm glad you like Patrick. I made him up for A La Carte and I really liked him :) Thanks again for reviewing!

This story is so cool, GITC, and you keep adding these little twists. "...but it didn’t seem the same as it did before they had poked their sleeping demons in the stairwell that day." Great line. It's really interesting to think about how their family and friends are seeing this drama unfold. I can't wait for more! (TWSS)
Author's Response: NanReg...thanks so much for your review. Glad that you like the story and the premise.

I really love this story. I've been following since the very beginning and I can't wait to see how it ends. What a great idea to use fans as a way to develop Jim and Pam's relationship! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, scrantonbranch. I hope you'll hang on to the end!

ROCK ON, GITC! (How many of my reviews start this way?) I'm having a bitch of a time getting my new TiVo set up; I was on hold with the tech guy when I saw this was posted. No lie, I hurried along the call and said I'd call back after I mess with the IP address, or DHCP address, or something else I don't know anything about. I just spat something out to get off the phone so I could read this, and I wasn't disappointed! I can't wait for more--Please tell me Jim doesn't like Libby (or that she's actually like 4 feet tall, 700 lbs., and a rabid watcher of midnight Star Trek reruns).
Can't wait for more! Keep up the great work! -CH
Author's Response:
I'm sorry about your TiVo. It sounds complicated! I'm so glad you liked it. As for Libby, well... Let me just say this. I liked Karen. I didn't like Karen with Jim...I couldn't see the connection, so I kind of want to explore what would have happened if Jim had a "replacement Pam" who was actually a better match. Thanks as always for your rockin' reviews.

Wow! I just discovered your jem of a story.
I love this idea of fall out from the documentary airing and Jim and Pam's reactions are so well written.
Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review, Beeswax. I'm so glad you are enjoying this.

GITC, I'm finally catching up with the rest of this story, and I have to say, I am ALWAYS impressed at your characterizations. You really have fleshed these people out, and I especially like the nice backstory that Roy and Pam have. They mgiht not be completely right now, but at one time they were great for each other.
It's such a treat knowing I have so many more chapters to read!
Author's Response: McGigi--Thanks so much for this review. It means a lot to me that you like the characterizations...especially how I've tackled Roy. I'm so glad you are enjoying this.

Poor Jim! I'm sad for him : (
So glad you broke through, GITC! Great job.

I think it's ingenious the way you write him as becoming season 3 jim in this situration. Maybe this is the kick in the pants Pam needs huh?
Love your writing as always. Glad you've continued it. It's too unique to go unfinished ;-)
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review. One of my favorite things to do is to try to stay true to canon, but play around with the timeline. Pam certainly does need a kick in the pants, though.

Aww, jeez, Mel! ARe you trying to kill us?
“Pam, we’re friends, right? We’ll always be friends.”
Love the imagery of Jim letting his feelings 'harden' so he can build something else on top. Not the idea, but you know. Ow.
Author's Response:
Honestly. I am not trying to kill anyone. Promise. I think, though, there is something slightly wrong with me because I tend to end up torturing poor Jim. Thanks for your review.

Jim is the Ice Queen King. Yikes. That was hard to read. But so lovely as always! Keep those updates comin'!

Oh, GodInThisChilis, here I was, bemoaning the fact that I have nothing to do (but relishing it all the same since school starts back soon!), when BOOM! You post! I think this is one of the best chapters yet; the intimacy Jim is so worried of losing is shown so poignantly in your prose. You brought the reader to his level, so we almost felt his guilt and anxiety; I think that's a real gift. You've done a great job here, and I can't wait to see how Pam digs up a girl for him! I'm thinking she'll have six teeth, a lazy eye, and maybe a permanent case of athlete's foot, no? :-)

You have the voice of the obsessed fan down perfectly here. NOT, mind you, that I would know at all what that sounds like from personal experience. Just sayin'. ;) I love the quick updates, I am completely hooked on this story! Great work, GodInThisChilis!
Author's Response: Thanks so very much for this review. I'm always afraid that my obsessed fans will sound a little too over the top. We haven't seen the last of Marissa, though, so hopefully I can keep her voice on target.

This story is bananas! And I love it. Boy are they gonna freak when they see that stairwell convo on JFC.com. What about Roy? Is he still going to be looking at the site as well? Yikes.
Love the site too. 3 people voted for Roy, so I'm thinking, Pam, Roy and Kenny? Darryl? Maybe even Jim, to throw off suspicions.
You are so imaginative, not only for writing the story, but creating the story's website as well. Great job!
Author's Response:
Roy's forgotten about it FOR NOW. I went in and voted for Roy (for Pam) so I don't know who the other votes for him are from. I bet he'd have a little support. Angela would vote for him.
Thanks so much for your kind comments and the review.

Well, that confrontation didn't go well at all! But at least they're starting to scrape the surface of what they're truly feeling. And I love the blog reaction - I'd totally be freaking out like that if we'd seen such a scene. And the comments on the website are hilarious - I love the theories about Pam having Jim's baby ;)
Author's Response: I think it's great that people are leaving comments on the blog. I loved the one about the baby. Jim and Pam will need to scrape a lot more than the surface. I'll try to help them get there.

This is just so good--such a clever concept. You have me wondering what is must feel like to have one's emotions exposed and analyzed by others like these two. Interesting. More soon, please? I'm really sucked in!
Author's Response: I'll do my best to update ASAP. I'm so glad you are enjoying this story.

This story continues to be great. In addition to the plot, I love the way you structure the chapters. Opening with the explanation of the “dead zone” and wrapping up with the destruction of it? You’re a pro.
Author's Response: Wow.. Thanks so much for your review and your kind comments.

All I can say is "ouch" for Jim, his guts left trampled in the stairwell. And recorded by the security cameras. Double Ouch.
Author's Response:
I think there's something wrong with me because I like hurt, tortured Jim....probably because I know that in the end is angst will be worth it and Pam can make it better. Thanks for your review!

GodInThisChilis, you have done it again, given me a perfect metaphor for all that is JAM: the elephant coming delicately down the stairs. Wow, just...wow. ;) Yes indeedy, I love this story. **sigh** Great work, can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Thanks so very much for your review. I hope to have more up soon. Stay tuned.

You make me so happy, GodinThisChilis, but you know that already. I just bounced over to MTT in post-paper bliss (whoooo hooo) and your story was the perfect treat. I always wait for more of this one, and as usual, I'm excited to see what you have up your sleeve. Nice work! -CH
Author's Response: As always, thanks for your review CH. And congrats on finishing your paper!!!
