You do a good job of having the characters talk realistically, like they would on the show. Excited to see where this is going!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end. It was so creative to bring the blog aspect into it and your portrayal of Jim and Pam was spot on.
I also LOVED the ending. So simple, yet so powerful. You should be very proud.

Wow! Great plot development. Perfectly rational decision to quit D-M. But we know he won't quit Pam, right?
I'm glad you got over the writer's block. I absolutely love your stories and I've been waiting for an update!

SO glad you're back and writing again, GITC. I've enjoyed this story and its originality from the start, and it's so nice to have an upate. Nothing wrong with a little melodrama. I think it worked quite well.

Oh, GiTC, this was PERFECT! Melodramatic is good, especially when it's as beautifully written is this. I love the stilted honesty between them as they become more comfortable with each other. You're doing great work, and it's so nice to have you back!! -CH

GUH! Fantastic! That kiss? Smokin' :) And I love that it was Pam's idea, too. So glad you're unstuck! Keep on writin', missy!

Yay for Pam turning her life around in two weeks! And yay for an opening to talk, for real, at last!

OMG ... can you quit with the cliffhangers? Ok, don't quit cause I love em. I could eat this story up with a spoon.

Finally, do I dare to hope??? :)
As an aside, I was reading some of the reviews and came across this gem of a line by CH that totally needs to be on a tee shirt:
Can Jim and Pam have sex now please? Kthnx.
Just great. Looking foward to "the talk".

OH JEEZ!!!! That is not your Chinese food, Pam. Have they both been out for two weeks? OMG! I'm guessing they've been moping independently, which is very sad. But they're both very single, which is good.
Cannot wait to read more. (Duh).
Author's Response: "That is not your Chinese food, Pam." I want that on a t-shirt or something! I know that two weeks is a lot of time, but I needed to have the timelines (What's going on with Jim and Pam...and Marissa's blog) mesh. I don't think it will be ruining anything to let you know that while Pam has been off for 2 weeks, Jim went back to work after the first week. Thanks for your review.

Aw, poor Libby. When she got into the "what if things got serious?" argument, I kind of started thinking of her as the voice of Karen. Poor lovestruck girls caught in the crossfire of a love they just can't compete with. At least now maybe they're both going to start being honest about their feelings a lot sooner!

Wow that was some chapter. Can't wait for more

Poor Libby. I can't believe I just said that. Great chapter.

God, I feel so bad for Libby. Sure, she knew what she was getting into, but that's like going to a ballgame where you know your team's going to lose. (read: any time the Orioles play) You hope they don't, but expecting they will doesn't make the loss hurt any less. It sucked that she had to get hurt, even if it does leave the window open for JAMmy goodness.
Loved it :DD

Kaboom! That is the sound of Libby dumping a giant bombshell on Jim. And his precious, precious pain.
Thanks for exploring how the 'other woman' might feel without making her out to be a saint, a victim or a ball of rage.
Date: February 25, 2008 09:33 pm Title: When I'd Let Go Of Your Hand
Woo hoo!!! The Plot Hurdle is gone (however lovely she was--really, kudos to you for creating such a sympathetic "other woman;" like Karen, she seemed cool, but let's face it--she ain't Pam).
*Un-CH-esque fangirl moment begins*
Can Jim and Pam have sex now please? Kthnx.
*Un-CH-esque fangirl moment ends.*
Bravo, GiTC! Can't wait for more! -CH

Yay, now we're getting somewhere! I feel really bad for Libby, that must have been a hard phone call for her. And I love that she's so real here, she's been a kind, relatable character this whole time but is still understandably pissed and bitter when she's getting screwed over. Looking forward to her talk with Jim, and the next time Jim and Pam talk!
