BTW - A Christmas Story is my favorite holiday movie there is! Espically when his brother 'oinks up' the food.
Author's Response:

Ha, aww, loved it! Absolutely wonderful from start to finish, definitely not LAY-ame. Coolio all the way. I can't believe you can so fully capture Andy's character using so few words. Fantastic fic, loved it!
Author's Response:
I love writing 55 word chapters. They're challenging but so much fun. It means a lot to me that you enjoyed. I really appreciate all of your reviews, firthgal! Thank you so, so much!

Hee. I am loving your version of child Andy, he is so magnificently quirky.
Author's Response:
I'm so glad! I hoped I wouldn't butcher him, since he's such a great character, so it's so nice to hear you think did a good job. Quirky is a good word for him. : ) Thank you!

Ha. Oh, once again I must say, awwww. I was waiting for the leg lamp chapter, and you didn't disappoint! Loved him calling it smokin' hot, and wanting to put it in the front yard to deflect the attention from his mother. So cute.
Author's Response:
You can't have A Christmas Story without the leg lamp! Just last week, I heard someone (funnily enough, he was named Andy) ask what movie had the leg lamp in it. I'm glad you could see him thinking it was hot. ; )
Thanks!

Oh, same here Andy boy! I had those exact same thoughts when I was little. Why is fudge bad? Why is Ralphie getting his mouth washed out for saying it? Best line:
But if fudge was bad, then nothing in the world seemed right to Andy.
That sweet, smooth, chocolatey dessert just can't be a bad thing.
Author's Response:
Heaven forbid that fudge is bad! ; ) You're not the only one; I watched A Christmas Story once with a younger kid, and she asked me why fudge was bad. Thanks for reviewing!

Oh god, this one made me burst out laughing!!! Am still giggling. Oh god, this is so thoroughly explaining why Andy is the way he is.
Author's Response:
Happy to make you laugh! And I thought it would explain a lot, too. Andy's poor mother must have had her hands full. Thank you so much!

Hee, oh. Poor, poor Andy. This was absolutely brilliant, I love how you can capture Andy's personality and put it into this adorable little kid. Awesome.
Author's Response:
The thought of Andy as a child makes me want to aw and cringe at the same time, but he's so much fun to write. It's great to hear that you think I'm doing well at it. Thanks, firthgal!
