What an absolutely awesome story! Their dynamic with each other's familes is EXACTLY as I have always pictured it and I was so happy that though things DID get delayed, you didn't string out the proposal forever having it fail over and over. I thoght this was truly perfect. Oh I adore that you have it that he hadn't brought Karen and no other girl either, home with him. It was just anoyher way he was able to reassure Pam, who isn't loaded with self confidence, how special she truly is to him and shows again that he never really viewed Karen, or ayone else, in a serious light.
On a side note LOVE Juno... not as much as the Office, but truy love it and you did a fantastic job with the lyrics here, I love them and really I think the silly lyrics really fit Jim and Pam and wh they are as a couple! Thanks for such a fantastic story!

Very cute story.
I liked that you included the Barry Louis Pollisar song into your story.
Juno was a good movie, liked it lots.

I must have missed this while I was gone on vacation or something, but my GOD was this wonderful. Just amazing.

I was enjoying this so much I kept sneaking a peek at the bar on the right to make sure it wasn't close to the end. It was lovely and romantic and heartwarming and I loved the way both families were so happy with them being a couple. And proposing on the roof at DM would have been an awesome idea!

i absolutely love this. the proposal was so realistic - i dont like in a lot of fic how in their proposals its very formal, first middle last name, etc. even while the rest of the story is casual. it doesnt seem very 'them' to me. this was actually one of the only proposals that DID seem realistic. i also loved the view from both houses, the mention of dunder mifflin but not hitting the reader over the head with it - just love love loved it! xoxo

Oh my gosh! You stole my title for another story haha! After I saw Juno I immediately downloaded the soundtrack and love this song. Especially love how you named one of the chapters after the chorus. I actually haven't read the story yet, lol, but I'm going to print it out. I think I'm going to change my title to "Anyone Else but You" .. it's so misleading (;

Aww, my heart is full too. I cannot get enough of "Jim proposes" stories. I'm just going to imagine that's what happened since we have no mockumentary footage to confirm it.
I really like the dose of imperfection you introduced into this. Poor Jim. I hope Pam doesn't give him the flu. Somehow I don't think he'd mind, though.

Aw, I love it. I think you do a great job of creating this air of intimacy between the two of them, even in the smallest exchanges. Like this:
Jim feels the couch shift as he feels a body sit down next to him, handing him a glass of eggnog and slipping a hand over the expanse of his back.
"What did I miss?" A voice asks, her breath warm and comforting in his ear.
His back, her breath -- it's understated, but says so much, and goes along with Jim's "ordinary moments" line at the end. Good job!
