Yes! I loved this! I can see Jim sending out like a thousand emails to Pam waiting impatiently for her to respond. And no Karen screwing up the works? Yes!
Yes!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Yeah, I decided to keep Karen out of this. hehe.

I am loving this story, but still hoping for maybe just a tiny bit more angst. You can take this so much further, hope you do! Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks! But sorry, I just wasn't feeling the angst so much in this story.

I *loved* this line:
His fingers flew like lightning as he typed a response, and then another when she didn't answer back within three minutes.
It just seems to be so *Jim* in this moment.
And I like The Police, so really this story is a win-win-win for me.

Oh God. Hurry and post the next chapter. Please. Terrific idea for a way for them to re-connect. It seems very possible. Pam would have needed a few drinks to email him and I really can see her doing that. So true to character. Yikes. Write more. Write faster. Thank you.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review! I'm glad you are enjoying it! I'm working on the next two chapters right now, so they should be up soon.

Six months ago, his dreams became a reality, and he didn't even know it. OMG, OMG, OMG!!!
See, this is what technology does. A machine told me to drive my car into a lake.
Author's Response: LOL! I love that you compared it to the whole driving-into-the-lake-because-of-technology thing. Thanks!

Are you kidding me?!? Technology sucks. But you definitely don't! Please update soon! Awesome chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm kneading the next two chapters, so they'll be up soon.

Very sad so far but I am enjoying it. Hopefully there is an explanation why Jim hasn't answered.
Author's Response: Thank you! I never thought about the fact that releasing it as separate chapters would add more drama to it. I was surprised to see that you thought it was "sad", and then I realized that I wrote it all at once, so I already knew what is going to happen. So it makes sense that the story is still in a sad place at this point for the readers. Don't worry- things will work out for Jim and Pam. :o) Thanks again!

I love this take on Jim going to Stanford - instead of the anger of Pam finding that he left, we got to see the utter sadness and despair over the situation causing him to leave. Very well done. I'm anxious to read more.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoy the different take on that situation.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! It's always awesome when your betas review your published work even though they've alrready read it. :oD
I am still working on the last chapter and will definitely have you take another look at that when it's ready. But for now, I'm posting the first few chapoters which I am happy with. :o)

Awww... poor Pam! (but I have a sneaking suspicion that things will eventually turn out right for her... right? yes? Puff? You're not going to leave us in the lurch, are you?) :)
I'm so happy to see this story beginning to be posted! I think you've made some fantastic improvements to it, and it's really much stronger as a result. Excellent work!
Author's Response:
Hehe how did you know? Are you psychic?
LOL thanks for reviewing even though you've already read the whole thing. :o)
