bow chicka bow bow...
Okay sorry..couldn't help it. I love this story so much I just want to take it out behind the middle school and get it pregnant (30 Rock?). Seriously the first thing I did when I got home from work was run to the computer and I was so excited to see two new chapters. You are VERY good at building the steam. It's necessary, too, because I don't see Jim jumping all over her the minute she broke up with Roy. Great story and I am so excited for the steam ;)

A chocolate on the pillow? I could totally see Jim doing that. So good Wendy.
Author's Response: Hey, friend! I'm so slow, but thanks for reviewing ;-) As always.

i think the reason i love this so much is because we are so used to being in JIMS head while he pines away for pam and this time its completely reversed. besides little glimpses, we dont see him pining (even though we know he feels it) and i really like pam being the focus of sorting this all out and taking the risks.
awesome as usual and dont tease us with the steam!
i will be refreshing this like 500 times today (at work too LOL). cant wait!

I know it’s super fancy, but try not to do that whole Extreme Home Makeover reaction -- ha! How adorable is it that Jim spiffed up her little room. Bonus points for the Three's Company reference. This is fun and sweet.

At some point, Katy would want her spot back in Jim’s bed. Ugh is exactly right, wend.
And Jim needs to tell Pam he didn't get Katy anything for Xmas. Glad to hear you are taking your time with this. As long as I get to read some new chapters along the way ;o)

Awwww he's such a good guy - but Pam needs to open up here eyes! More soon? ;) (as *I* read this at work lol)

I sure do love quick updates--especially when they're this good. You're seriously making my day. Love how you reference the now-infamous spare bedroom.
P.S. I'm reading at work. I won't tell, if you won't tell...

Squee and sigh. This is absolutely lovely so far, and let me say you are one of my favorite authors. Sleeping in Jim's bed, ftw.

“I broke up with my boyfriend,” Pam blurted out.
“Oh!” Mark gave Jim a strange look. “That’s . . . too bad.”
Heh, perfect response from anyone who knows how Jim felt about Pam. Loved it!
"You are going to keep one foot on the ground, right?” she asked. Hee!
Great chapter, loved your sweet Jim. Although I don't imagine he was very sweet to Katy when he sent her home with Darryl. 'I'm gonna take Pam home, let's break up. 'k thanks, bye, drive safe!' Or more likely, 'Hey Darryl, can you drive Katy home, and let her know we broke up? 'k thanks, bye, drive safe!'
Looking forward to the next chapter. :)

i've been reading this from the beginning, and i think it's awesome! I love your characterizations of Jim and Pam, and i hope you continue just as quickly as you have been updating in the last few days.
And can i say.. FINALLy did she do it. Geez!

This story just keeps getting better! I really enjoyed how sweet Jim was in these last 2 chapters, and I'm SO looking forward to the steamy stuff :)

**sigh** Okay, so I can sleep happy tonight. I'm still amazed at how this is all from Pam's POV and she has, like, NO idea that there is probably this crazy roller coaster of emotions going on inside of Jim. I've never read a fic like this and I just love it. So, so, so good, wendolf.
I think, tonight, I'll go to bed early so tomorrow comes faster - you know, like on Christmas :) Thanks for the quick updates today!
Author's Response: Thanks kells! Yeah, keeping it Pam's POV only has been a challenge . . . I've been so tempted to get into Jim's head from time to time but I really like the idea of studying Pam's unrequited love angst for a change. And haven't we all wanted to see her be the brave one? Okay. Off to bed. Really. These reviews are like crack.

Aaaaaaaaaargggggggh! You're so fast, and there's a new chapter all the time, but... you're acting like you're allowed to sleep or something, take a break. Hello?! Just because you're writing these fantastic chapters, so quickly, and building this tension?!? Geez. Sure, just, you know... take a break. I'll just be here, refreshing, refreshing, refreshing, letting this meaningless non-profit crumble around me.
Refreshing...Refreshing...
It's so good!
Author's Response: Oh Stilla -- you're making me laugh. If I didn't have to go to my real job tomorrow (and some spend time with my poor husband who is a computer widower lately), I'd stay up all night to write. I want to see how it ends, too ;-) But, alas . . . I guess I have a "real" life (although sometimes not nearly as interesting as my virtual Jim/Pam life). You can put the refreshing on hold for now . . . try again tomorrow afternoon.
