This was a really good, cathartic chapter. It was time for them to be more open with each other and you pulled it off beautifully without resolving everything. I can definitely see them finding their way into a stronger, real relationship.

Oh, this was so good but it was over in a flash! I really enjoyed the explanation of Franny's name and the sweet, sad image of pregnant Pam. I also loved their awkwardness and tentative steps closer to each other. Really loving this story, italianfood.

You know I was just thinking about this story on Friday and how little Franny needed to work her magic again! Then I got to work and voila! Great update!
I really love that Jim can save the day, but their relationship isn't magically fixed. Good on Pam for slowing them down and really making them start on a level playing field.

I am happy that they are finally talking. Loved the choice of song and the little confession Jim made. Not letting Jim and writing about the insecurity she felt when he suggested it was well done.

This is probably the best AU Office fic I've read. Ever. And I'm not just saying that so you'll update faster. Really. But if there was an update soon, I definitely would be on board with that. Seriously, very in character, very sweet.

This was such a great chapter, italianfood. Jim's singing to Franny and admitting that his wife didn't want kids, etc. were so moving. Really looking forward to learning more about his past and them rebuilding their relationship.

This brought tears to my eyes: "Hi baby. I missed you. Did you miss me?" I can really feel how much Jim loves Franny. So can Pam. Yay! Pam's going to forgive him. She can see deep down what a good guy Jim really is. I realize it's been awhile for Jim, but he needs to do more talking and less kissing. :) Pretty funny that she won't let him leave to get food. I wouldn't let him leave either! Such a sweet chapter and that is a beautiful song.

I'm so happy they're finally acting like adults! My only question is why hasn't Jim openly addressed the fact that he wasn't using her? She kept saying over and over again and yet he's never denied it even though we knew he wasn't.

I am so glad to read another chapter of this story, and I'm really happy that Jim has reconciled with himself that he CAN move on.
It's too bad Kelly of all people was the one to tell Pam, but I'm glad she knows. She and Jim still need to have a serious, non-hallway convo, though.

Ooh I loved this chapter! Pam's reactions were wonderful, both to Megan and to the kiss... silly Jim, grovelling DOES always come first ;) I loved the scene with the family, and Jim's constant attempts to get Pam talking. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I woke up thinking, "Hmm, we seem about due for an update from italianfood." Imagine my glee when I checked this site. Leave it to Phyllis and Kelly to spill the beans. You do angst very well. Can't wait to hear Jim try to explain what's taken him so long to fess up to Pam. I really feel for the guy. I do know what it's like to be with someone who doesn't like to talk about things. It sure takes a lot of patience, which I am sure Pam will have once Jim comes clean. Less angsty stuff is good, but this was a really good chapter.
