I don't watch GA anymore either, but I was referring to Amy Adams taking up with Patrick Dempsey in Enchanted. But I didn't see it, so I could be wrong.
Author's Response:
No, you're right! I even saw Enchanted. :) I guess Patrick did a good enough job in Enchanted that I didn't even think of him as McDreamy! Silly me.
Enchanted is out now on DVD. It's really good, and I just heard it was $14.95 at Best Buy. What, this isn't the "Movies" thread? ;) I'm definitely going to get that at some point.

Yay~ A multi-chapter fic from TLK!
Let me guess, Katy has taken up with a cute doctor from Seattle?
Author's Response:
I'm not sure we'll find out about Katy's guy. Why, is Dr. McDreamy or someone moving to Scranton? I don't follow that show at all anymore. I was thinking of making him one of our other Workers, but I'm not sure. I have two options, but I also have other things to do with them. It may just be a mystery. Maybe she'll just go on island vacations with a "dear friend." ;)
Thanks for reading and reviewing, lisahoo! :)

From an Office fan of Irish descent (and Polish), this is a great idea for the St. Patrick's Day holiday. And you totally capture the "sound" of the announcers (Eric and Candice) covering an event such as this. I think this is going to be a lot of fun.
Author's Response:
I'm surprised no one's done the Scranton parade yet (I don't think they have, anyway...) -- it's such a big event in Scranton!
Thanks for reading and reviewing, Mr Bill! Happy (belated) St. Patrick's Day, as well. :)

Cute idea, TLK. Love how you captured the dialog of parade commentators.
Author's Response:
Well, I needed a St. Patrick's Day story, and the Scranton parade was just sitting there. ;)
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, NanReg! I really appreciate it. :)

Okay so be honest - you were a parade announcer in another life, weren't you? Seriously you've got that down, my friend. It's hysterical. This is SO promising...can't wait for more.
Oh...and Workers? Brilliant.
Author's Response:
Inane chatter is my specialty. I get a kick out of how those announcers talk to each other, and it's the same thing with local news anchors -- "That's right, kells!" "Over to you, kells!" "You may have forgotten your name in the last two seconds, so I'll remind you, kells!" ;)
I had to think for a little bit about what they might call the actual documentary -- when I hit upon "Work," I knew I liked it.
Thanks for reading and reviewing, kells8995! I don't know when the next installment is coming up, but hopefully soon. :)
