Well here is one more for you! I did like how you didn't have Jim bring up his feelings for Pam. This shows that WHEN not if, they start a relationship, it wont be an issue. Doing fabulous so faR, i'M LOVING IT!(yes, I know that's McDonald's theme, but I'm borrowing it!) Can't wait for the next update, weither it's tonight or tomorrow(tonight preferrably!!!) You're awesome!

Oh, WEndolf – just stay at your computer and BE UNHEALTHY! You love it, we all know that! And WE all love your stories!! This is just GREAT, GREAT, GREAT.
I love the dialog and the way you are advancing the plot. My favorite moment this chapter?
“Roy. Wanted you. To talk to me? … God, he just has no clue…”
Don't know if I can even keep going on MY story (Cardiac Care). It seems so lame next to writing like this.

Oh, and what great but believable restraint on Jim's part to not try and sway her decision, when he certainly did have the chance. The boy's playing the game well.
Author's Response: Thanks, my friend! You are the best!

I'm a terrible person. I've read this far without leaving a review. I was at work so that's my excuse! Wow, what a great twist, Roy asking Jim to talk to her. Did NOT expect that! Great twist Wendolf. And again, it just showcases just how freaking clueless Roy is. I can totally buy the puking too.
Jim nodded and slipped out of the pew to follow her to the sacristy. He felt all eyes boring into his back as he approached the room where Pam was hiding. When they got to the door, Pam’s mom handed him a life saver from her purse.
“Can you give this to Pam? She . . . might want it.”
Jim almost laughed at the absurdity of what was happening. “Sure.”
What great attention to detail, and it shows just how much Pam's mom cares.
I think it worked beautifully, not having them interact a lot. The interaction they did have was simple, but pregnant with what's to come. Can't wait for the next update!

Awesome chapter! I thought the JAM interaction was perfect for the moment - not too maudlin but definitely with serious undertones. I'm excited for your update!

Yay!! Just discovered this and read all 4 chapters at once. I need more, more, MORE!!! TV is proven to be better for kids than school!

Absolutely thrilled to see yet another update!
The pastor signaled for the string quartet to fill the air with something besides speculation. Maybe Bach, Jim thought. That always calms down a crowd.
You are superwoman.

I love that Jim didn't tell her his feelings! And this interaction DOES work!! Hopefully you can get the kids to watch TV and get another chapter written and posted soon!

My kids are watching the Spongbob marathon right now so I can read this. So I see now problem with you doing the same so you can write it!!!

Just got back from a four-hour meeting outside of the office and how happy am I to find two new chapters?! Pretty darn happy, missy! Now keep going! Sponge Bob! Sponge Bob!
These two chapters made me so nervous in such a good way.
Author's Response: Ooooh, good nervous. I like that feeling ;-) Thanks for reading and reviewing, Nan! You make my day!

Well, I've been back from colaiste for a while and thank God this was up because there's been a terrible shortage of updates in the stories I've been reading. I always read yours though - so keep em' coming, let your little un's watch Spongebob... I think he's hilarious after... wait, no... too much info.
Author's Response: Ooh, you have to finish that sentence! (BTW, my hubby's name is James Michael, so I have a soft spot in my heart for you ;-) Thanks so much for reading and your comments!

Wow, this is great. That first chapter was so tense, I was holding my breath. I'm so glad Jim showed up to remind Pam that she was settling for less. Looking foward to where this goes next.
Author's Response: I’m prefacing all my review responses today with: sorry I’m so darn slow . . . I will be faster in the future, I promise. Now -- Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. Hope you didn't turn blue from the tension ;-)

Once again, wendolf, you've done something awesome. I feel like most of these "Pam leaves Roy at the altar" stories are either oneshots or the part where Pam stops the wedding is rushed through to get to the part where she and Jim get together. I liked being able to see the dialogue of the whole ordeal. I eagerly await more!!
Author's Response: Oh good! I'm glad I've done something different. As I said, I'm pretty new to fic so I wasn't sure if this had been done, like, a million times already. So . . . thanks!!! I really appreciate your thoughts!
Date: March 25, 2008 12:58 pm Title: Now or Never
Please continue soon! ohh its getting good, at least give us a pam/jim interaction!! This is a great story, and its nice to read something that hasnt been written before (that I've read at least) Great Job! Now put that tv on give the kids some ice cream and get writing! : )
Author's Response: Thanks bnbrice! Glad it's a new take on something . . . I wasn't sure. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

DVD's of full-length movies (Cars, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid) work wonders!!
Throwing up into a communion basket -- that is priceless.
Author's Response: Yeah, who doesn't like a little desecrating of sacramental paraphernalia? Kidding, I'm kidding... Anyway, thanks for reviewing lisahoo. You are awesome.

well if it's scientifically proven who am I to deny you?!!? I saw you updated and was stoked for the second part, then I saw there was a third(albeit a little on the short side) I nearly did my happy dance. So I wanted to write how I looooved Jim's POV and cannot wait until the next part. I vote for spongebob! I need to know whats gonna happen! Can't wait....doing a FANTASTIC job!
Author's Response: bee sly, I'm glad you're enjoying!!! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Date: March 25, 2008 10:13 am Title: Ahem...
Oh I'm so giddy with excitement with this story. I actually said "OH GOODY" when I saw you updated. Who says OH Goody now days anyway?
Author's Response: I've been known to utter an "Oh Goody" (Or and "Oh sweet") from time to time ;-) Thanks for your reviews, DunderSnob!
Date: March 25, 2008 10:06 am Title: Ahem...
Didn’t Buddah or Sting or someone say something about “if you love someone, set them free…”? Bwah! Buddah or Sting. Same difference.
I also really liked the eye-pleading going on. I can totally see that.
Author's Response: Yeah, I could totally see Pam as an eye-pleader ;-) And Jim as an eye-pleader reader. Thanks as always for your comments, Lisa!
Date: March 25, 2008 09:38 am Title: Here Comes the Bride
Wow that was a great start! As much as I would love for Jim to stand up and say his piece I really want Pam to be able to end it with Roy for herself---can't wait to see what happens!
Author's Response: Agreed, JRAddict! Didn't want Jim to force her hand ;-) Thanks for your comments!
Date: March 25, 2008 09:07 am Title: Here Comes the Bride
Get those kids locked in another room and update this fic!!
Date: March 25, 2008 07:20 am Title: Here Comes the Bride
I don't know how you do it but you are really, really good at this, woman. I concur with the others when I say that you should stick your kids in front of the TV and crank out another. It always works for my nieces and nephew (how awesome is Handy Manny anyway?) so yeah, really looking forward to the next one. I'm convinced this'll be another gem. :)
PS: She wondered at what point she had stopped thinking for herself. She wondered if she had EVER thought for herself. -That slayed me, btw. Just.. guh.. yes.
Author's Response: Thanks so much oobadnama! Always good to hear you're good at something ;-) Thanks for taking the time to review!

P.S. How could I forget: “Next time I see you you won’t be Beesly anymore.” And she had frowned and he had asked, “Can I still call you Beesly?” Stab me in the heart, why don't you?!

Guuuuuuuuhhhhhhh. I'm in a daze, wendolf. Had to remind myself to blink--a phenomenon that occurs when I read particularly good fic. Oh my. Where to begin.
Oh, God, there’s nothing worse than cleaning up toilet water. Except for perhaps cleaning up puke. This made me chuckle. Spoken like a true mom ; )
Now to the intense stuff:
"...that she wouldn’t someday look at Roy like he was rash or an itchy tag or something to be merely tolerated..." Brilliant. That really sums it up right there.
"She almost wished she’d let Kelly be a bridesmaid. At least then it would look like she had something of her own left." So sad. Such a simple but true realization by our girl.
And this: Is that how it would always be? Would she always be sort of invisible to him, an afterthought, second place behind sharing a joke with his brother? Wow. Another bomb dropped. Fantastic.
And, boy oh boy, let's not forget that ending. Amaazing. Put the kids in front of the TV and give us another chapter soon, OK? That's not too much to ask for, right? Right?!
Author's Response: Nan, thanks for all of the specifics -- it's always great to read a review like that! You get validation that some stuff did work the way you hoped it would. My kids are pretty happy playing right now . . . now it's a matter of my husband not getting jealous of the computer. Ideas??? Thanks again for the review!

This is a bit of a new take on the subject, so please, write more! (Just put the TV on Noggin or Nick Jr. and write, woman!!)
BTW, I can feel Pam's stomach churning, too. Whoa.
