I can't even imagine what it would be like to go through something so devastating. You are a very powerful writer, I hope you continue soon.

Well...I'm supposed to be working, but I'm sitting here at my computer crying. I am impressed at how well you understand the tensions within a marriage when something terrible like this happens. Some marriages don't survive it. I know you won't let that happen to Pam and Jim, but you definitely show the tension and pain and isolation that couples go through. Beautifully poignantly written. --Strider

I am so torn reading such a sad story but you are doing such a great job I just can't stop. The thought of any mom and dad going through this is heartbreaking. I definetely need a happy ending.

Interesting. I had a little trouble figuring out the timing, but then I was able to. (It's the slowness of Kevs everywhere, I guess. ;))
Poor Jim and Pam indeed, but I'm glad to read from your chapter notes that they'll get through this.

How sad. Well-written, though. I'm not sure why people think Jim's being a jerk (regarding Chapter 1 reviews); a grief like this would be terrible, and his reaction in general I think is realistic.
And I'm not going anywhere near that site. I breathed an enormous sigh of relief when all my children were past the age where they could die of SIDS, and I have no interest in putting myself through that. It's bad enough thinking about all the other things that could happen to them. You mentioned in this chapter "a parent's endless love," but of course we also have a constant fear.
Good job, PPC.

The tiny coffin, the wet circles on her nightgown--such sad visuals, and so powerful. You're doing a great job.

This just makes me heart hurt. My aunt and uncle had a stillborn baby, Adam, when I was 8 and even though we love my other cousins, you can tell they still miss him every day. Just excellent work with the utter sadness.

as long as the story has a happy ending, I'm good. I hate when the stories are chapter after chapter of angst and then end sad. This fic is amazing. I hope Jim gets over himself a little bit, and reading how he does will be half the fun. Keep up the amazing work!

As a mommy of 2 little ones, this story is so heartwrenching. Sids IS every parents nightmare. Please continue your story as quickly as you can.

Author's Response:
I never knew much about SIDS and after I did my research I was so terrified and heartbroken. This was the only way I could think to get rid of those feelings and I'm so glad that people are responding well to it.

It is really hard to read while your crying....
Author's Response:
It's also really hard to write when you're crying. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this is entirely too sad.
Thanks so much for the review DunderSnob! :o)
