A very lovely and fun look into the mind of our favorite receptionist! It's great to read about Pam's worries and thoughts about her relationship with Jim. Not that she had anything to worry about (hello, perfect boyfriend/fiance/husband material right there!) but for a relationship that's relatively new and after everything they went through, it's not surprising that Pam would think like that.
Thanks for sharing!

I LOVE this story!
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad that you loved it. I definitely enjoyed writing it, in fact, I wrote this quicker than any other story I've ever done. Thanks for reviewing The Temp.

Liked this very much. I enjoyed Pam's thought process. It gave me a bit of a different pespective on Thursday night's ep. I had in my head that Pam might be nervous about Jim asking her to marry him in view of her history with Roy. Her inner dialog as you wrote it seemed true to character. Nice job
Author's Response: I'm glad that you found it true to character. I think that Pam or Jim or whomever, probably think or act a little differently out of the office than they would in it. Accordingly, I try to treat them a little differently but also keep the office-persona intact (if that makes sense). So anyway, I'm glad that it still seemed Pam-ish to you. Thanks for the review NanReg.

i loved it all. from the first z to the last n.
And, quoting your story as a review: "In fact, it was kind of amazing. "
So much for a short review. I type now. I used to write, but I couldn't write fast enough. So, type it became.
And if I am really 'desperate' I do just talk to myself. Ramble on and on.
So yes, the stages are handwriting, typing, talking.
Now, you can be scared of me.
Because ya know what. Jim Halpert Has A Ring And Is Going To Ask Pam Beesly To Marry Him. And Soon. And It Is Going To Kick Ass.
now why did I capitalize all that and nearly nothing else?
Oh. Who knows.
It stopped me from quoting the entire story, so that's good, right?
Author's Response: Haha, first of all, this is a great review. I actually do the same thing as Pam does here sometimes, so that was kind of the driving force behind it. Also, I wanted to tinker with the first-person viewpoint for a story. I'm glad that you liked it, and thanks for the review EmilyHalpert.

" Reason #2- And this one makes me a bad person, I know. But….I wanted to see how he’d react. And this makes me Kelly Kapoor. "
HAHAHAHA. It was slightly Kapoor-ish. But Jim's reaction was awesome so it was ok. Nice work.
Author's Response: I know, isn't it? I have no real idea what the writers intended, but it just seemed to me she had to have said that a little bit to gauge his reaction to the whole thing. Which in turn, made me think of Kelly in the conference room talking about babies and Ryan looking scared in the corner. Anyway, thanks so much for the review standinginthedoorway.

This is great! Very Pam-ish and true. Also, seeing Pam's excitement of a possible engagement brought back my own excitement which I have been trying to let die down since Thursday. Lol, but I don't mind! Very good story.
Author's Response: Well, anything I can do to keep the Jam high going, then I'm happy to do. I know, we didn't really see too much of Pam's excitement over the idea during the episode, so it was fun to try to to get into her head for this little piece. Thanks for the review TeamPammy.
