Awesome. Not that I'm wishing bodily harm on Jim or anything but...yeah. Awesome. It's great how all of Jim's attempts to be "managerial" end up disastrous failures! I'm glad someone followed up on Hank. Very nice.

Ha! Great voice for Hank. We've heard him say, what? 10 lines in the history of the show. But you still nailed it.

Poor Hank. Poor Jim. I blame Ryan, really. It's all his stupid website's fault. I love the warehouse guys bought him a pizza, and that's totally up there with the fifty bucks from the heating and air conditioning guys. Man's totally got his priorities straight. Pizza=better than money.
And this story? = better than pizza.

Good grief! I really don't remember how the conversation started and where it meandered, but somehow we figured that Hank was pissed. It was a dark and stormy night and Hank was pissed at Jim Halpert.
I had the best laugh over this! Thank you!

LOL...poor Jim! This was really good--I loved the insight into a minor character, and it was just realistic enough to be really amusing! --Strider

HEEE!! Nothing like coming home from a great evening out, turning on your laptop and finding a new story by you.
Admittedly, I hardly ever read stories about other characters than Jim and Pam but taking the author into consideration, I decided to give this a try anyway. As expected you don't disappoint.
You've managed to bake a delicious cake of funny. From the beginning where you establish the extent of Hank's bitterness and his wish to take action...
It isn’t that Hank hates Jim Halpert.
That’s not exactly the right way to put it. It’s more like he seriously wants to cause him bodily harm, also known as punching him in the face.
Hard.
He’s been dreaming about it for hours.
...to the end where he actually carries out his revenge.
And when he finally arrives, a couple of people pull in at the same time and they‘re all walking into the building together: Hank, and three people from Dunder Muffin, and right at the threshold Hank ‘trips’ and somehow Jim Halpert ends up with a bloody broken nose.
Oops.
Karma, Hank thinks, shaking his head and smiling.
What a bitch.
The thing is though, that funny moments like the ones I've pointed out only work in a story if they are placed in a believable context, which definitely is the case here. You just write so convincingly realistic that I'm sure you'd make even a story about the adventures of Pam's post-its believable. Like for example bringing Hank's wife into the picture which adds another dimension to our perception of this character. Or describing how Hank would have settled even for a piece of paper with a waving stick figure drawn on it wearing a little santa hat… Because who wouldn't want a Christmas gift like that, really?
Finally, just wanted to include one more thing:
“Your face is going to freeze that way,” she tells him and he frowns a little deeper just because he can.
This shows how Hank's wife calls him on his irrational behavior by joking about his attitude. However, instead of denying Hank frowns even deeper thus jokingly admitting to it. And that's what makes this particular sentence so damn funny. We know that he's right, that Jim has been an ass and deserves to pay for it, but at the same time we also know that moping around and being irrational about it is not really constructive at all. Even so, his reaction is so natural and identifiable that we can't help but laugh.
Meh. That made no sense even to me. Oh well..
Oy. I promised myself that I wouldn't get carried away with the analyzing seeing as it's way past midnight over here and I'm really tired. Then again, I guess it's a testement to you and your writing abilities that I keep finding new things that I want to point out. In a one-shot about Hank nonetheless. Wow.
Thanks for making a great evening perfect. Goodnight!
Oh, one more thing. The only chapter there is. Brilliant.

Ha! Here I was thinking someone might find their car a bit "damaged" when they left work on Monday, but your idea is good too! Funny one-shot :)

Bet Jim will never forget Hank's Christmas gift ever again. Another awkward moment missed due to the strike.
Thanks for this, SG!

Yeah, why couldn't Jim call Hank back and let him know not to come? Oh, right, because it was Toby who had the number and he went over the fence. Weirdo.
There is not enough Hank!Fic in the world, SG. You rock!
Author's Response:
so awkward...lol. You also rock lisahoo, so thanks ;-)
