I'm reading this for the first time and I had to leave a review. The dialogue and their whole dance in this is so absolutely pitch perfect. *standing ovation*

oh wow, that was good! i know what you mean, i hate when jim and pam are mad at each other, and i can't stand it when it lasts long. but i do however love the stories when they have arguments, because they always end really cute-ly (is that a word???). anyway, great job!

This was great. Really.
Their fight felt really in character.
Then that last line.
XD Hilarious.

Ya know, I wasn't really paying attention to things like dates when I started reading this, and with the mention of Toby, I was like, oh post finale. But it still didn't seem to fit. And then with Michael/coming in tomorrow, it just made it worse. I thought I was losing my mind. Then scrambled eggs reminded me, and it suddenly clicked. Not finale, Night Out.
Jim and Pam are arguing :'(. And, whats worse, is just because I'm me, I made an overexaggerated sad face in real life, and tears so started flowing. Damn them. I want rainbows and sunshine all the time!
Ya know, this made me enjoy that episode more. I hated the pick on Jim aspect of it, but, this, this makes it worth it.
Haha! " "You've done this with Michael? Is that how you got to be number 2?""
OMG! That totally made me snort and scare my dog!

HA! Yeah, that's definitely how he got to be second in command. *snerk*
I liked their arguing style. It was very in character for Jim to clam up and want to run away. Plus I'm glad that you had Jim aware of his piss poor management abilities!

Ha! i really like your take on how they fight, and those last three lines killed me! good job!

You have no idea how much I loved this story. Like, I'm obsessed. This is just what I needed after last week's episode. And this is exactly how I picture Jim and Pam fighting - getting angry, laughing it off, and having sex ;D I LOVE YOU FOR THIS!!
Date: May 01, 2008 04:52 am Title: Chapter 1
Definitely one of the best post-eps I've read in a while. Very realistic and in character.
I love how Pam calls Jim on his selfishness.
What the hell? Pam got up and followed him into the kitchen. "Oh, Jim...I don't think you're done with this argument..."
He licked his lips and leaned against the fridge, shrugged one shoulder. "Um...no...pretty sure I am."
"Pretty sure we aren't..."
So even though Jim in his stubbornness might feel that there isn't more to argue about, Pam by stating that we aren't ackowledges his sentiment but at the same time tells him that she has no intention of letting him off the hook that easily.
I also love how you convey the awkward and hesitant silence that follows by using just two simple words,
Silence. Crickets.
It always amazes me when writers use simplicity to describe more complex issues.

This. IS. AWESOME.
I so believe they would, in fact, fight like this, and it's just perfectly them. Bravo!!
Date: April 30, 2008 08:04 pm Title: Chapter 1
This was so realistic...definitely the way that these 2 would fight and make up. Great job!

Perfect, perfect, perfect! That's definitely how it would go down.
I'll bet Roy just yelled a lot, and then took off, so Pam just ignored the problems. But Jim handles anger so differently and Pam herself is a different person. She can't brush away or ignore the tenseness and she's brave enough to gently persist until she gets him to admit what's bothering him. Just so good!
I also love how you delicately mentioned Jim's concerns about his future career and how Pam picks right up on it. But right now he's got more immediate life decisions to deal with, woot!
Great story!

I loved this. I'm really intrigued by the idea of Jim and Pam fighting, as well. The boss of sex bit had me laughing out loud, and the way Jim gets when he's angry is exactly how I get when I'm angry so I definitely related. Great job.

This was really great -- love how you perfectly captured Jim's feelings after last episode. Jam fights are great, the making up even greater. Very cute ending. =)

"Listen...Jim...You have to like stop. Ok...so every now and then, you're not all ‘Hi, I'm Jim Halpert and I'm so charming and I'm literally the best at everything."
"Except ping-pong and being a manager," He mumbled under his breath.
Pam groaned and looked up at the ceiling. When she found his eyes again she adopted another dramatic air. "Listen...sometimes when you're charming - I can't stand you...I think you should really mess up more often."
You tell him, Pam.
I really enjoyed this, LoveFool! I've missed you around these parts.

Awesomely cute story! God, they fight cute too??! SO JAMMY AND YUMMY! Thanks for this PB & J snack.
This part: "Part of why he'd gone so long without making any contact with Pam after his infamous declaration of love was because he'd been embarrassed for being so freaking candid and not having those feelings returned. " Dead-on! You definately got Jim's character down.

Jim Halpert -- the boss of sex. Oh. My.
Thanks for writing a believable fight, and for Jim having to learn how not to be charming and perfect at everything.

Nice job, LoveFool! I felt their voices were perfect. I think you achieved that perfect mix of fun and awkwardness and sweetness.

Well, you are the boss of happy/funny/spot-on Jim/Pam convos...now served with a garnish of angst ;-)
This: Jim, saying he didn't know was a lot better than Jim not saying anything at all was perfect, cause that's how Jim would come to terms with his job-issues...in small increments with Pam's encouragement, not in some big dramatic epiphany. Now, I think you best get cracking on Who's The Boss II - The Hard Way (sorry, I couldn't resist.)
Date: April 30, 2008 03:33 am Title: Chapter 1
OMG so funny! The final line was priceless! And I liked their argument... it was nice to see Jim react to that night, because it must have been so excruciating for him.

Ha! That was funny.
