Man, how did I miss this? You capture their voices and the awkwardness of this moment in their relationship where it's SO new and also old and they both know on some level they're set for life and can't possibly acknowledge it yet. Good dialogue, especially from Jim. Really well done.

Its a birthday present review! Or maybe just the fact that work got cancelled this afternoon, so I decided to read fanfic, but still. Its a birthday present!
And I know I already half read it, but whatever
And I still love the fact that Jim's comforter is a navy blue!
I know I read this part before, but its still its great. Its like, a perfect little slice of life for that first day together. So cute!
Yeah, so 50 First Dates and Meet The Parents totally on my DVD shelf. Along with The Parent Trap and My Girl.
Jim's looking at rings. Man, its been like months since we knew that, and its still all sorts of great.
And then Karen shows up :( That awkward trading of the others crap. That never goes well does it
Ah yes, he akward moments between the two. It can't always be sunshine and puppy dogs (although sometimes I wish it was!)
"Because death would be bad." PERFECT Line!
And they will get married. Or are already married!

God, this was so good. I will never ever ever get tired of Jim and Pam firsts, whether it's date/sleepover/kiss, and ESPECIALLY not when they are so well written. I love this story.

I'm so glad you posted this! You did a great job of exposing their awkward tendencies and how easily it is for them to surpass that and move on. Loved Jim checking out the ring, since we know he bought one only a few days later, it was perfect!
