Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! I love the fact that there is no angst or regret, and everything is so clean cut. Roy doesn't even think it's Jim! This chapter is so great and the beginning is simply adorable.
And it's killing me but I can't think of the show. Urgh.
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I'm really glad you caught that Roy didn't make the connection that "some random guy" may have been Jim. In my mind, Roy thinks Pam could never get a sports hero/celebrity like Jim, which is why he didn't even think of it in the first place. And the reference is from Friends, but I didn't really expect a lot of people to get it. EmilyHalpert is a tad obsessed with Friends anyway. ;) Thanks again!!!

I will be honest with you, I read this when you posted it and didn't leave a review because I was in a hurry and I meant to come back and tell you that it was great and that I am glad that there is no smut, oh and to please keep on going!!

I had to force myself not to read this last night. Of course, it didn't really work because I forced my friend to read it, and then she was subsquently squeeing, which meant basically I was squeeing. And therefore, didn't really sleep. Oh well. Who needs sleep.
Oh, and now I'm also curious.... did the Sixers win without Jim's lucky charmedness there? If they lost, I don't know if I could support this relationship with a woman who makes him miss games. Haha!

I had lots of trouble getting to sleep as well, wondering how people were going to react to the ending. Ok, I really REALLY wish you'd write some smut here but if you feel uncomfortable with it, I understand. Although, I must say that I have never read bad smut even when the author make those comments like "It's my first time. Sorry if it's terrible." Anyways, I'm babbling. I think you would be good at writing smut judging from your non-smut writing which btw is very good. I LOVED THIS CHAPTER! sorry for the long and obnoxious review!

I know there are a lot of really good smutfics out there though (I'm not too embarrassed to read them by any means), so I just feel more comfortable directing all of you there. Woot! I will admit, I saw this was updated and was like "wait, I didn't read a new chapter" then I remembered I did. I'm having a slow day apparently.
I can see the small differences you've changed, and they make it so great. It definitely flows a lot better :D!
Note to self: Were is different from weren't. It makes a big difference in the sentence!
And personally, I think Dorky HS Jim is extra cute. Man, now that I think about it, he looks kind of like my HS crush. I mean, different, but similar in the same dorky, way to skinny lanky sort of way. And they are both named John.... hmm...

Yeah, ya know Pam's reaction to her postcard... so I was taking pictures at the wedding. And I thought some of them looked pretty cool when I looked at them on the little camera screen. But I came home, got them on my computer, edited them (correcting color balance and what not), and man, some of them are good!!!

Ya know /weird Emily story time, I realized freshman year that I am weird about guys. Only in retrospect did I notice this... I realized in October/November area that me and this guy were totally different and weren't right for each other as friends. Looking back, I always could peg that exact night as the night I realized that. But, I didn't know it then, because I hadn't thought of him as anything more until closer to December. So, yeah. I'm weird.
