This is a great glimpse into Pam's angsty thoughts. The only drawback was the tenses: I thought things were happening now, but there was a long section of past action. I wonder whether the whole piece would have worked in the past. I definitely enjoyed Pam's increasing regrets and hope still that she will be reunited with the real Jim Halpert.

Congrats on your first fic! I find it's much easier to read angst when it's sandwiched between fluff. Nice job.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Kaystar!! I really appriciate your review! Hopefully I can keep the angst and fluff sandwich idea in mind...this one definately turned out a little more angsty than I originally intended.

Never apologize for the angst! This was good- can't wait to read more from you!
Author's Response: Haha, I will keep that in mind when the Angst Train slams into me again, NiceJammies. Thank you so much for reading!

Even though I know it turns out for them, your angst made me weepy. :( I felt so bad so Pam when it seemed like she missed her chance and you're totally in her head expressing that. Gah. Must go find fluff. Thanks for the great read!
Author's Response: I completely agree with you about feeling bad for Pam during the entirety of Season 3. There's something so heart wrenching about her situation that I find myself drawn to over and over (even though it works out for them in the end). Hopefully the muses will allow me to step back from the angst for a while and write something fluffy for once! Thanks so much for your comments Elle, and for reading my story!
