Nice story. Really good angsty moments you have there. I love Jim's half drunk smile and the omage to the glass being half full. I would love to read more. Please continue.

I loved this - especially considering I'm still desperately trying to seek closure (young British girl, 903 year old Timelord...and a half and half split who's not quite the same) Thanks for this story - perfect ending (unlike the ending of SOME stories I know.)

Very cute...I like how not everything was perfect for them that first night. Good job, nice simplicity.

Very nice! Sweet and fluffy. Just the way I like it! Are you adding more?

I like first date fics where its not perfect and its a little awkward. It fits them so much better. I liked the simplicity of this.

Oh, I hope, hope, HOPE that you continue, shootingstars. I so thoroughly enjoyed it. I kept checking the scrollbar (or whatever it's called) on the right of my screen to make sure that there was more to read. I didn't want it to end. The dialog was spot on and lovely. So many passages that I want to quote--such as this one: “I am so sorry,” she whispers, clutching at his hand like it’s all that’s keeping her here, in the present with him, instead of back in the memories of those days without him. *sigh* Excellent job.

quite lovely, SS.
"You're messy. You're a klutz, you spill everything. And you leave the volume on the TV way too loud." All kinds of possibilities there...

I enjoyed this. You could add more chapters if you're inspired to do so, but either way, it's an enjoyable read as is.
