This is such a great idea, and so well written. I know it has been a long time since it was posted, but I wanted to put in a plea to have it updated. Any chance the inspiration is still there?
In particular, I love your portrayal of Season two Pam. The few gesture do a better job of conveying her mindset than any longer description could. Here's hoping to see more of it!

Wow...Great start!! I was totally not expecting her to say that and when she did I literally gasped. Can't wait for more!! :)

I thought she was joking when I first read that last line...Then I read it again!!! Holy Crap!!
Author's Response: Hee. I love that reaction! That's kind of what I was going for. Thanks so much.

Alright. It was very, very unexpected. I thought that the little twist made the story much more interesting because without the twist in storyline, it'd be a boring story about how Pam remembers Jim and she's fine and doesn't have amnesia and it's all rainbows and butterflies.
I think the approach is really great and I can't wait to read the next chapter. Great work!
Author's Response: Lol! No rainbows and butterflies here. At least, not for a few chapters. I'm glad this wasn't too predictable for you. Thanks for the review!

Uh oh. This should be interesting!
PS I loved this line:
"The air contorted into a rubbery kind of tension that stretched around them and between them and filled up the empty spaces in the room."
Author's Response: That's one of my favorite lines too. I love it when people quote the lines you're really proud of back to you. Thank you for your comments. Hope you enjoy the ride!

I read this before a 3 hr car trip and it put a huge smile on my face. It definitely gave me something to think about the whole way home. Can't wait for more of the story...Although, I think you could just end it right here!
Author's Response: Wow, cool! I'm glad I could give you some food for thought. I did think of ending it there at one point, but then I got some ideas for where it would go and I just couldn't stop. Thanks for the review!

Oh, boy! This should be quite a ride...
I really liked this line:
The look on her face that night--just before she'd gotten cold and left him out there to wallow in his cowardice--was the same as the one she wore now.
Cliffhangers are good, by the way. :)
Author's Response: Callisto! You know I'm quite fond of your work, so it really means a lot that you're reading this and took the time to respond. I tend to like it when authors refer to a specific moment in the show in the description of a look on a character's face. I think it helps to visualize it, you know? I'm glad you liked the cliffhanger, too. :D

OH.MY.GOODNESS! You have to update soon!
Author's Response: Don't worry! I'm working on the next part now. Thanks for the review and the encouragement!

Whoa! Did not expect that! Awesome! Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Thanks, Jinxcoke! I'm so glad you liked it, and that you were surprised by the end. More is coming soon!

okay wow you totally threw me for a loop there. I cannot wait for more! Cliche or not I am so intrigued.
Author's Response: Awesome. That's pretty much what I was going for. Thanks for the review!

I was just thinking the other day about someone writing a story where Pam or Jim gets amnesia. Very excited to see where this is going.
Author's Response: I was really surprised it hasn't been done before (and if it has, I couldn't find it). This will be a bit different, because it's not total amnesia. Pam has just reverted back to S2. I thought there was a lot more potential there. I'm glad you're excited! Thanks for the review.

I am totally totally staying tuned for the nest chapter. Cliche or not, this is good. ^_^
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad I got you hooked.

Poor Jim. He just can't catch a break. Well, I'm curious to see how he deals with this one!
Author's Response: Yeah, this is not going to be easy on our dear Jim. But he's in a different place than he was in S2, so he's got that going for him. Don't worry.

Oh my god, i so didn't see this coming. So excited.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad it surprised you. That's what I was going for. :D

Oh man that was an awesome cliffhanger. Definitely can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Thanks! I hope to live up to your expectations!
Date: September 01, 2008 05:54 am Title: Okay
Doh! Your comment before the story alluded to this, but I was expecting her not to remember Jim at all. Wasn't expecting her to think she was still with Roy! Poor Jim has to start Wooing all over again!
Author's Response: That's where I tried to be a little original. The basic concept for this was to put S2 Pam with S4 Jim and see what happens. Jim's definitely got some wooing to do. Thanks for your comments!

WOW! What a twist, I did not see that coming. Please update soon, can't wait to see where story goes!
Author's Response: I wanted the end to be a surprise, so I'm glad it worked for you! I hope you like the rest of it, too. Thanks.

oh wow. I did NOT see that one coming at the end there...whoa. update asap please?
Author's Response: Cool. I was hoping the twist would be surprising. Part two should be coming soon.
